Anderson actually has a cut line from the "its quite a view" conversation on the Citadel where he asks Shepard if he ever plans to settle down. It's not dependent upon LI but other than LOTSB it's the only hint we get of Shepard's plans for the future.

You know, the first time I listened to that, I bursted into tears. I do think that Shepard would be a great parent, and I'd do anything to give him/her that chance.

One of the things I wanted was a kiss of them in Sanctuary, and Oriana with the "seems you are having fun" line.

I think the scene meritted a kiss, if anything, at least a "No Promises ME 2" hug :wub: !

Still, to put my two cents, I was satisfied for the most part with Miranda's romance in ME 3, you see her a lot of times, have great conversations, she features on a cool mission, she certainly wasn't "horizoned".

Even if, personally, I think the Horizon scene with the Virmire survivor is one of the best scenes in the game, still, I can understand how Ashley / Kaidan romancers would be pretty upset at it.

Just finished my letter, sent to the mail. I hope it isn't something agressive.

@feliciano

The "having fun line" was in the leaked script. It seemed that someone (Oriana probably) surprised Shepard and Miranda in the middle of something and said that line. For some reason it was cut.

Time constraints most likely.

Making deals with The Devil is unadvised Bioware, always :P

No, the scene was there. It was supposed to happen during the "We never give ourselves a break" convo but Bioware was generous enough to imply they had sex, at least, rather than being interrupted.

Well, everything after the geth/quarian arc was rushed.

@flemm

That looks great. Looking forward for more.

I'm glad that line was cut, for that was certainly not the first thing in my Shepard's mind for the future. And wouldn't be for a while yet.

I like futuristic myself.
For one it fits with the setting; and I like to imagine it as a secret rallying cry passed only to the right people.

Same here, Old School and Experimental are great ! But Futuristic does fit perfectly.

Agreed. I do like it more than the others, albeit not by much, they're all pretty cool.

@yesika:
About the Reform Cerberus poster: I like the plain black and white better than any of these. But if it is to be one of these, the futuristic style is best. I recommend making the "window" significantly more transparent though.

I see, but Shepard kissing Miranda on Sancutary would be a huge sign of love. In Mass Effect 2, it was a sign of a fling as opposed to a more heartfelt romance. (There should have been a Paragon kiss as well)
Besides, it might scare some people. They wouldn't want to click the Renegade interrupt and have Shepard do something ****-ish.

People who are scared to use Renegade interrupts in a romance conversation have no business romancing Miranda :P

But I agree this style would be a little out of place at that point. I wouldn't make it an action on Shepard's part. I would just add a scene with them kissing.

The Renegade interrupt during Miranda's LM is one of my favorite interrupts. It would have been nice to have things like the Renegade kiss from ME2 affect the romance dialogue in ME3, but that's asking way too much. Having a "Renegade" interrupt where Shepard grabs Miranda and kisses her on Sanctuary after seeing that she's okay would make sense considering that he very nearly lost her.

Haha. Like the dialogue with Grunt, Dr. Doctor. He reads Hemingway of all things!

Agreed. It matches very well with the series' aesthetic. You mean a secret rallying cry like a fruity oaty bar commercial? :P

Futuristic for me too. I really like old-school as well though.

As for Shep talking about settling down - I think it should be left to head-cannon. People have different opinions, and it can become very cheesy very quickly. The line to Liara in LotSB (little blue babies) makes me cringe every time someone mentions it.

Still not sure about the interrupt, but I would like a really good kiss scene at Sanctuary and prefer it over a reunion scene in the epilogue - because I won't see the latter in my games.

How about both?
