:lol: Totally appropriate. I love it.

Besides, congrats for reaching the $300 goal (LOL, why do I always write "gaol" first? Third time in a week).

If it wasn't for Bioware taking so much agency away from the player.
Very well, they don't have resources to make three completely different campaigns for Independent, Alliance Mongrel and Cerberus Loyalist.
But could I, at the very least, get Shepard to stop saluting and calling everyone "Sir"? Maybe an angry face or two?
Throw the dogtags at Anderson's face? Please?

I do wonder if the Alliance installed a control chip in Shep's head because of his/her utter bootlicking aliiance nonsense in ME3. Casey where's my ability to roleplay Anti-alliance?

Maybe we should try to compile all of these suggestions on how to improve the Cerberus Arc for the fanbook?

Oransel wrote...

Miranda-lovers, how do you think, is Miranda into BDSM and if so, in which position towards Shepard?

Miranda has a complex relationship with power so yes. I could totally see her into BDSM.
Miranda is the wicked Cerberus dominatrix while Shepard is the captured Alliance officer who has been implanted with a control chip that forces him to do anything boymymindjustwentplaces.

I believe in what Miranda views Cerberus ought to be.

Dito. And I want Miranda to lead humanity's STG in the post-ME3 universe.

Keep in mind, while I believe humanity has the largest population, only about 3% of humans ever serve in the Alliance military. Therefore, we need something akin to the salarians' STG to help protect our interests. That's originally what Cerberus was supposed to be I believe, but TIM "warped it" and went way too far.

"Only" 3%? That's 330 million people... Even if you posit that only 30% of that is shipboard personnel, you'd have enough to crew a few million frigates or a hundred thousand cruisers. The Alliance hasn't got 10% of that.

What the Alliance can't provide is intelligence, cutting edge research and controversial advances in science and technology. That's what an STG is for.

@MisterJB:
There's a fanfic which explores exactly that. I don't think I can find it again though.

Say what you will about Cerberus, but I cared more about the original SR2 crew than the Alliance crew. They actually made the ship feel alive rather than reminding me how much I hated the war room security chekpoint. My favorite crew conversation in ME2 is between Hadley and Matthews:

Hadley: "How are we going to stop the Collectors?"

Matthews: "Don't worry, Shepard and Lawson are on it."

Absolutely. Every minute I walk through the Normandy in ME3, I miss the Cerberus crew. Just give me Samantha instead of Kelly and keep the rest. I even miss Gardner. Also the ME3 Normandy is dark and gloomy while the ME2 Normandy felt like home.

As for Shepard, yeah, all that damn saluting and "yessir" gets to me.

@Oransel:
Not in my universe, no she isn't. Not as a rule, anyway.

I noticed Miranda said Henry created more children before Miranda, but she was the first child he kept. What do you think happened to the previous children? Those were Miranda's older brothers and sisters...they're either dead or scattered throughout the galaxy with no identification of themselves since they were shipped away at a very young age.
Also, what do you think made Miranda so special that Henry kept her?

I've always thought there are unknown sisters of Miranda somewhere. There's also a fanfic where she finds some growing clone sister/daughters and adopts them as her daughters.

What makes MIranda special: anyone's guess, but she's very likely the first biotic in the bunch.

Here's my shot at what I thought the dialogue should have been in the apartment scene (Keep in mind I never tried writing one before)

(dialogue snipped)
[...]

Your dialogue would have been too conventional for me. I would avoid the "I love you"s and most certainly not talk about settling down. "I'll always want you in my life", that's the perfect line for me. It keeps everything open except the fact that yes, he wants to be with her and it's a long-term commitment.

@Dr.Doctor:
Your version is better.

Did anyone notice how the texture in Miranda's outfit is lower-res than it is in ME2(it's more crisp/clear)?
Why is that?

Looks fine to me. Maybe your vision is going blurry from staring at "Dat Ass" pictures too long. How about trying to look at her face?

Excellent point.

@Oransel: I can see Shepard and Miranda having some kind of domination game while making love. As they are respectively alpha male and female so to speak, I can see some kind of challenge occuring between them like struggling for being on top or something but that's it.

I did, however, of all pictures of Miranda to post, you chose that one. Along with all the other pictures further up, my tolerance for objectification has run out. I apologize for my attitude, but I find the abundance such pictures insulting to her.

I can see Miranda being into BDSM, probably as something to spice the relationship up rather than a lifestyle, with her role being variable. Sometimes she takes control, sometimes she gives it up.

Anderson: You look good Shepard, a little soft around the edges though. How are you holding up?

Shepard: It's not so bad once you get used to the hot meals and soft beds.

Anderson: And Alliance Intellligence's bi-weekly mental reprogramming regement.

Shepard: What?

Anderson: Oh nothing.

Both of them are equally passionate in bed, at least according to my headcanon. One of the reasons my Shepard fell for Miranda is because she always competes with him to get him to prove himself to her. I see them as alternating not only positions, but how they do it. Neither knows what the other is going to do next, and that's pretty exciting for them. I also imagine that Miranda is very possessive and clingy, and for my Shepard that only makes her better. I assume that the two of them have a very vivacious sex life.
