Alright, I'll make an alternate run with a Liara Romance, best. Miranda AND Liara are the Best MaleShep Female LIs in the Trilogy. If only we could have them both in the Squad in ME3.

Just kidding, you'll enjoy it Luis. If you romance them both, it has a potential to be a rather emotional story line... at least it was for me.

Will Miri still Survive ME3 not Romanced?

Yes. Just make sure to talk to her all 3 times, warn her about Leng and give her the resources. She's survived all 5 of my previous playthroughs, 3 of which while unromanced.

Miranda only dies if you dump her. Great scene though. Strahovski acts the hell out of that moment.

Follow my logic:
101 only talked about doing ME3 again which suggests he will either import his already existing Shepard that romanced Miranda or he will just start a new game without import.
In a playthrough without import, Miranda. unavoidably, dies. And, in order to romance Liara in ME3, he would have to break up with Miranda in which case she will die.

MEFan, better do another playthrough of ME2 first if you want her to live while romancing Liara.

- In the first leak: Reaper fodder.
- In the final game: Leng fodder.

Glad to see they changed Reapers with Leng.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say Miranda's role in ME3 is to die tragically. At least we can save her. As far as I'm aware, it's impossible to save Thane or Legion and next to impossible to keep Mordin alive. I'd be a lot more upset if I'd romanced Thane in ME2. At least with Miranda there's the possibility of another chapter.

Got it  No one can tell you otherwise

I sort of picture Shepard and Miranda's relationship being a bunch of quiet moments inbetween missions, reports, and general day-to-day duties. They don't get much time together and reaching a point where their not separated by suicide missions or wars seems to be the dream they want to work towards in ME3. If all we get is a reunion scene with Shepard and Miranda I'll be happy, they can leave the rest ambiguous so I can headcannon away.

As for relationships I don't really see Miranda as the sort of person to mix business with pleasure (Shepard nonwithstanding) going off of ME2 when she's on a mission she's focused on the task at hand. Having James Bond-style flings while on the job doesn't really seem to be her type of thing. Off duty however, she has needs and so she resorts to things like iPartners to take care of them.

On the subject of having multiple LI's I've got a Shepard for pretty much everyone. I'm currently romancing Traynor who is quickly becoming one of my favorite ME characters.

Yes, but there should be more content (more dialogues, a real romance scene, and a flashback version including Miranda).
