But Kaidan is bi, not gay. If he's in a strip club with girls, he ain't gonna complain, there already is something he likes there. But since you mentioned it, how do you know he ain't talking about one of the male patrons in Chora's Den too hm? As for a mention about past male love interest, then that would already amount to mentions of 2 previous relationships. Kind of much when we're just getting to know the guy and when he's a potential LI. But since you've mentioned it, did you know that he tells FemShep "You think I've never been pulled in two directions?" This is said at the end of Liara-Kaidan-FemShep triangle/confrontation scene, a scene that involves FemShep deciding between a man and a woman (and yes, Kaidan absolutely consider Liara to be a woman). Interesting isn't it.o Ventus wrote...
As for Kaidan, he could very easily have made bisexual remarks in ME1. See Steve and Shepard in Purgatory, a nightclub apparently designed for heterosexual males, and Steve still making comments about his orientation, even inviting Shepard into a relationship (If you take it), or when Steve is on the Normandy when he talks about Robert.
It isn't like Kaidan needs to go to a gay bar to make gay remarks. Steve managed to do it in the straightest of places, and he pulled it off very well.
