Oh yes, talked about that with the others beforehand!

It's good to see that people are willing to do it. I can send the final high res copy to people who want it and then we can get this started.

WHAT IF you ask police officers from around the world to hold it up and tweet it?? LMAO

I envy you - you can read all that stuff in advance.

I'm going away this weekend and will be sans computer. So, I'm taking everything with me to work on organizing this mountain of material into a coherent book. It's interesting.

One thing that becomes immediately clear when you peruse this stuff is that they completely missed why people connect with this character. Writing characters is really their strength, moreso than gameplay or plot, so I imagine it's something of an anamoly.

I guess the overt sex appeal, which was a big focus on their end and received a lot of attention when the game was released, with "Ass Effect" and everything, may have contributed to the misunderstanding.

Sending the posters in an hour. If any of you would like to fight for a particular poster to be sent, now is the time.

I'll make a PM with all the officers, so okay maybe not send in an hour but we have to make a decision by the next hour or so. Our decision will take into account the majority's preferences.

Also had the drawn one edited so here's the final (hopefully!)

Note the coffee mug stain focus hehe.

Pfft Turian Sentinel is my best class (except maybe for Salarian Engineer) and this is from a guy who is exclusively infiltrator in SP.  I play with tech armor pretty high and even on silver he feels like a tank just slowly walking forward and mowing down mooks. He's also got the Miranda combo (Warp+ Overload) maxed.

I like Turian Sentinel wih the Hornet, his weapons stability passive ability makes it a really good gun. Strip shields with Overload and just give 'em a few bursts with the SMG.

I agree, ME2's overall plot wasn't really much more than "Let's go kill the Collectors" but the squadmates and their backstories really made it compelling.

ME3 sort of forgets where it comes from if I didn't romance the VS then I don't have any reason to have them on the squad, there isn't any interaction with them on the ship, the same thing applies to Vega I don't really have any reason to care about him because there's all of three conversations with him. The only new characters that I really cared about were Sam and Steve and they're not even squadmates.

Ok... I mean, given that we have like 10 posters and are sending, what? 9? It shouldn't be too hard to decide Image IPB

I'm surprised at how handily I can take down brutes as well, even if I have no combat roll or equivalent to dodge their charge. Even on silver, it's a team effort but more often then not it's my warp or SMG burst that finally finishes it off.

Yeah what happened to greater squad interactivity and banter? With the current amount of content per squad member , there really is no excuse for not implementing a swappable squad system. You only want 6 people on the ship at a time, fine. But let us pick the 6 from a greater pool. Especially since you can have Tali and Garrus dead and turn down the VS for squad. Minus Javik if you don't have the DLC and you've only got two guaranteed squad members anyway. Ridiculous.

Hey guys! I just had an idea, while packing my bags for my trip. What if I print an A4 size of the original missing poster and temporarily plaster it on various areas in London plus other countries and then tweet them to Bioware?

Hmmm, maybe I could do that in the NYC area. It's a fun concept.

That seems like a good idea. Maybe we should plaster posters on recognizable landmarks of each of our nations and post the photos here.

edit: Ah, I see Asakawa had the same idea.

I've started filing "things Mac and Casey say about their games" along with "things Peter Molyneux says about his games".

Nominated posters are up in the #FndMiranda group, if anyone wants to comment. I think the choices are excellent.

MIA 1 + 2 + 3, Aliqaiser's poster, Vertigo's poster, I want YOU to find me, and the Miranda/Kaidan one.

@Vertigo:
If I may point out you still have that Gothic/Fraktur font in use in one sentence at the top. And in "Betrayal". I find using that font in any place inappropriate.

Fantastic work, all in all, though. Can you post a bigger version so that I can nitpick some more? :P

It is old-fashioned. Miranda is the antithesis of that. It also carries connotations of being overly restricted by the traditional.

Hmmm, I see what you mean, and I certainly wouldn't nominate it as the dominant font. But, for example, Miranda shows an interest in classical music. Not a dominant character trait, but there can be some connection to the past and to tradition suggested here, I think.

To the larger point I basically agree, but as a font that appears in only a small amount, I think it can work.

Anyone actually voted for the one with Kaidan? From the comments I saw in the group, "I want you to take back Cerberus" and the minimalist ones got more votes. The kaidanites have their own campaign going and Kaidan actually had content in game, I don't think send one with him it's necessary, especially since this is a Miranda campaign and we could send one another poster of, say... her. Besides, the people of the Thane group were a lot more supportive and there's no poster with him envolved, doesn't seem fair.

Other than that, I'm happy with the posters choice.

Well, no, but it was not up for a vote, really. This is due to the fact that a couple of Yesika's contacts at HTL, who are Kaidan fans, chipped in at the chip-in. So, it is fair.
