Not really. One of the few times the philosophical question of "Is Shepard the same Shepard as before Lazarus" is actually addressed mentioned. It does not conflict at all with the discussion with Miranda as that is centered around free will and the right to it.

I basically agree. There's no real conflict between the two. If anything they both tend to underline the idea that the Lazarus Project was a near miraculous occurence that is hard to fully grasp or understand.

versus

"Am I really *back*, or am I someone new?"

Maybe Miranda knows how it happened, but nobody else really seems to.

What confuses me is that Shepard had the opportunity to ask Miranda about Lazarus multiple times during ME2 and a few times during ME3, yet the only time Shepard asks the "Who am I?" question is on Cronos right at the end of the game.

That said, it might be one of those things that shouldn't be spelled out. I would like it to come up again between Miranda and Shepard, though.

This is going to be one of those stupid questions, inspired by gameplay mechanics, but I'm going to ask it anyway JUST TRY AND STOP ME

Miranda uses a kinetic barrier rather than a biotic one, right? I mean, we know she's capable of creating a biotic barrier (just not on the same level as some...) but sentinels use shields rather than biotics. Unless maybe you can use both, and the blue/purple distinction is purely gameplay balance-related.

It shouldn't be answered, I agree. But that it hasn't even been brought up is yet another storytelling failure. I can't imagine that this wouldn't be on most Shepard's minds, and that they wouldn't go to the person who likely knows best for answers.

Away from game mechanics, I would always assume that a biotic can create a barrier. Kinetic shields are a function of armor. It should be possible to have both on.

Meh, it would have been fun to see vids of the actual operation like that time Wilson "got the numbers wrong" an extended scene from ME2.  Maybe a few others where Miranda is the one talking to TIM and not some random scientist. And one where they bring in his corpse ("meat and tubes" as Jacob describes it)

And this is something I'd have wanted to see in Cronos station btw.

Yes. Killing/sparing Niket doesn't affect getting her loyalty or getting her romance. The choice is reflected in a few lines of dialogue, and that's it. Personally, I let her kill Niket every time I do her loyalty mission.
