I hope so, too. Not an easy task, since in Control and Synthesis nobody will know what happened and there will be no corpse. Shepard will be just gone.

I think that where Shep dies it should just be part of a larger scene of friends mourning Shep at some kind of memorial.

I've been making my way through my Mirimance playthrough with my boy X, and I was curious about something; the Alliance resorces that Miri asks for.

What does she do with them/use them for? 'Cause it's never mentioned after the fact.

Also, I'm a fanfic writer with an on going Miri series; After the Reapers: The Miranda Chronicles (http://www.fanfictio...anda_Chronicles) and I've got a question.

In the final Sanctuary scene, would it be IC for Henry to say that he knows about Miri & Shep? 'Cause I was planing on having X say something like "Not on my watch you're not!" to Lawson Senior when he threatens to finish what Leng started with Miri and then Henry tells them that he knows about them (via TIM) being a couple and that he raised his daughter to always desire the best.

Since it's left so open, I'm still toying with what the Alliance resources are, and why she couldn't tell even Shepard what she needed them for. I want it to be a nice (or shocking!) surprise. Of course, it's making progress on my fic a bit slower until I have this 100% figured out. (Tip: don't start writing a story until you're decided on significant plot points.)

Judging by the email you get after Sanctury, you could possibly infer that she took a class-F fighter (as part of it maybe) but that's by no means definite.

I originally thought it might have been for locating Ori, but after reading the e-mail properly, maybe it's for the Ceberus raid tip-offs.

As for the fighter, I think she may have had gotten that herself somehow... and I can just see Jacob being apart of her squad, helping Shep and the Alliance against the abomination that Cerberus has become.

That looks amazing.  I really wish it could be true as well, I could totally see Miranda as a Spectre, doing the Council's dirty work.

Well, after reading the 1st novel and seeing Saren's line of work, i was like "And they say Miranda can't be a Spectre due to her Cerberus past? Oh that's bs!" Not to mention that in ME Galaxy, she and Jacob are the ones responsible for the council staying alive!

There's no way for Miranda to be a Spectre. I'm not saying this for her Cerberus past, and she is more than qualified to be one. She just wouldn't work for the Council, she doesn't have the same goals. Humanity black ops fits her better.

I'd always wondered if Miranda would want Spectre status. I mean, sure it's prestigious and carries a lot of freedom but you're still answerable to the Council in some capacity. I guess you wouldn't pass up the opportunity.

I guess everyone is a little paranoid about the EC. I've mentioned before and I'll say it again, I have no hopes of the EC being good at all. What's your concern?

We already have that subtext of being unable to function without him via the breakup. Suppose they make it worse. Or kill her in battle because they remembered they had two non-stranded LIs.

Honestly, I think they won't kill anyone in the EC and if they do, I think Jack is more likely since she's less popular (though if I think about it, the devs don't really care about popularity that doesn't involve Liara and the dextro team and they really don't like Miranda, so maybe that's a possibility after all).

In my ending, Shepard chose to destroy so there's always the possibility of them reuniting. Still when it comes to Miranda and BioWare I'm never hopeful, I guess it's the best to expect the worst.

I don't think it's paranoia. If Miranda does appear in the EC, which I think is highly unlikely, I can't imagine something good happening to her. Like I said before, I don't believe anyone will be killed, but if we take a look at how screwed up Miranda's character is in ME3 it's hard to imagine anything good happening to her.

And yes, Miranda could totally be a Spectre (a better one than all the spectres we met in the game). Her goals is not incompatible with a Spectre status, she would consider this as a great opportunity to protect humanity interests while doing her Spectre job.

Let's hope so. I'd like to be spectacularly wrong in my negativity. What I want is Miranda the researcher and founder of the human STG. And I certainly don't want her wallowing in misery after Shepard's death.

And well, Shep didnt stop being aliance navy when he became a spectre, that means Miranda could have an agenda of her own. And she is interested in human advancements,, but doesnt mean she is into xenophobia. She likes to have her skills well applied

Overall the Spectres have enough autonomy that I could see it, though it seems like everybody and their little sister is a Spectre these days.
