Seeing Miranda cry made my head hurt. Not because I couldn't understand it, but because it made me feel terrible.
Ehh, I still like the picture I posted earlier better.

Yeah, it made me feel good and bad at the same time. That was the turning point of her character development. Not even the most outrageous Ashley or Liara fans could call Miranda a heartless **** after watching that scene....oh wait, they didn't do Miranda's loyalty mission. Whoops.

More like they didn't bother to ever speak to her at all.
I'm serious. I can't count the number of people I've met who say they've never talked to Miranda past Lazarus Station (Not even for the loyalty mission).

Yeah, it's pretty sickening. Oh well...their loss.

First: How do yu think Miranda was when she was recruited? I don't think it was ever mentioned. I'm leaning towards 16.
My fanfic Promethean Legacy has Miranda discover her fathers' Cerberus contacts at the same time when she discovers Oriana's existence. The Cerberus contact gives Miranda a place to run to. I think that's a very likely scenario.Second: Do you think Miranda took Oriana before or after she joined Cerberus? And at what age was she taken? Maybe a year old. My idea is that Miranda took Oriana and she was recruited by Cerberus while on the run, protection to Oriana was their sell pitch.
If it must be a known person, Oleg Petrovsky. Ashe is too young. I'd rather think it was someone we don't know though. Petrovsky is a soldier, and Miranda's more the spy/scientist type. It should've been someone closer to that.Third: Who do you think would be most appropriate operative to have recruited her? I'm leaning towards Paul Grayson, but given his role in the organization I don't think it'd make sense. The other two choices I have are Oleg and Colonel Ashe.
Beautiful!

She tempts you into choosing Destroy for survival you mean? Yeah, I've thought along those lines as well. I'm not too fond of the theme, but it's actually one of the first things that came to mind after I came to know the endings.jtav wrote...
Heh, I just realized Miranda *is* an unintentional temptress figure. I'm a shameless metagamer, so I tend to find out results and craft the story with the end in mind. My Miranda romancing Sheps choose Synthesis, so I have to actively choose to forgo that imagined reunion. *whimpers*

@SpectresHonour:
I can't see TIM going after Oriana if he can let Henry do it. He never does more than necessary. He'd just pass the information.
MisterJB wrote...
I am dissapointed.
When I heard Oriana can kill herself and Henry, I was expecting an heroic sacrifice to end her father's ambitions.
Instead, she struggles for a little bit, Henry acts as if he is trying to restrain an angry krogan rather than a 20 years old girl and, I'm not joking here, the fall looks like an unfortunate accident.
That is...sort of pathetic.
Of course they can but there is no indication Oriana is athletic and Henry Lawson is a full grown man.lillitheris wrote...
