Yeah, but the whole thing is so convoluted that it's not really clear. It's a long dicussion, not really worth having here ;-)

I don't really like watching those scenes, and so don't make a habit of doing it, but it's worth noting that, in the longer death scenes, she says, with great intensity: "Finish this, Shepard. You promise me!" And Shep promises.

She's talking about Cronos and Cerberus, obviously.

Thus making me want to ****ing break my screen even more when the topic isn't even addressed in the scenario where she survives.

Whoa-hoa, look at the Paragon go Renegade all of a sudden. Haha. But it was hard to tell if she was talking about Cerberus or the Reaper threat. I'd like to think she was talking about both. But in either case, your anger is understandable. What a snub of a possible great storyline.

Indeed, that is possible Image IPB

Same difference.

Indeed, I may have suffered an aneurysm after playing through Miranda's arc several times in ME3.

I mean, I get that she's a side cahracter now (Even though she was the female lead and arguable deuteragonist/tritagonist in ME2, and the player's most prominent connection to the "main" antagonist (Face it, Cerberus takes massive precedent over the Reapers in terms of ME3's presentation)), but for Christ's sake, was it REALLY necessary gutting her like an old fish?

Commander Shepard has become a legend by ending the Reaper threat. Now you can continue to build that legend through further gameplay and downloadable content.

$15 for an hour and a half of content.

I would pay much more than $15 for an hour and a half with Miranda though.

Does anyone here think the EC is only going to be about 5 minutes long? And if they do a slide show ala Fallout: New Vegas, forget it.

I'm going to say this, when my friends who don't like Miranda say she should have had a larger Cerberus-related role you know something's wrong.

And picture time.

4+ months of work for a 5 minute long DLC?

Not even Mac Walters is that retarded.

There's the real problem. They had to clean the mess left by Walters.

I don't know... This is the same guy that helped hype up the endings, only for them to be criticized and then proclaim that the ending "isn't a big deal" and "it's all about the journey."

I think she was "supposed" to be romanced. She's forced on you in 3 nearly as badly as Liara and the only reason Liara is grating more is more screentime. Note the only time you hear the ME2 love theme is at the end of her mission. The problem comes in is that they had this awesome tearjerker of a final scene if she dies with face stroking (never mind whether you romanced her) and the good kind of melodrama. And they had no clue what to do if she lived. It's like they wamted to kill her (like Thane) but were afraid to ****** us off.

Yes, that's the impression I get. The whole setup was like for a forced death, and then they didn't go through with it. Good that they didn't - that would've been the last straw making me walk away from Mass Effect - but the dangling thread that resulted in is all the more annoying since there was *the* opportunity to do something with her right in the next mission on Cronos Station. I still can't quite believe that it didn't occur to them that Miranda must be there.

Lol, if you type "Mass Effect 3 Miranda Lawson screenshots" into Google images, most of the pictures are ME2 screenshots. Sooooo many awesome ME2 Miranda screenshots!!

Unsurprisingly. The comparison with ME2 shows just how much Miranda has lost.

This is still *the* Miranda romance picture for me:

*looks around* Did I hear someone say something suspiciously similar to "It can't possibly get worse"? Don't tempt fate.

Apart from that, a slide show would be better than nothing.

The only way I foresee it being worse is if they make it all a dream after Eden Prime.

Isn't that at least what Ieldra's least favourite theory implies? If everything after Eden Prime (in ME1) was a fevered dream, then they'll have outdone Dallas' infamous "it was all a dream" series, and further invalidate everything from the very start of ME1 onwards.

She could have just pulled a Beattie, but she didn't.

As far as I'm aware, wasn't it BioWare that didn't contact Beattie? I seem to recall he even made an appeal to fans so he could return as Mordin.

Remember "Angry Yvonnes"?
Where'd that even come from?

I'm going to sound pretty sad for remembering this (I can recall pointless junk rather well...) but I think she was having trouble getting the new Angry Birds levels on her iPad while she was shooting I, Frankenstein. Eventually she got replies about getting them via her laptop and transferring them over. Then she said something like "Thank you! No more Angry Yvonnes! Happy Yvonnes! (Tra la la)"

Tongue partly in cheek: The easiest fix for the romance is to get Dombrow to write it. Since he currently has me squeeing over Garrus, I'd love to see him handle Miranda.

If they do that and don't immediately put out the "real" trilogy (because the Prothean beacon was definitely warning about something), I'll put the games on Ebay.
