Yeah, but the whole thing is so convoluted that it's not really clear. It's a long dicussion, not really worth having here ;-)

It's like they wamted to kill her (like Thane) but were afraid to ****** us off.
I don't really like watching those scenes, and so don't make a habit of doing it, but it's worth noting that, in the longer death scenes, she says, with great intensity: "Finish this, Shepard. You promise me!" And Shep promises.
She's talking about Cronos and Cerberus, obviously.
Thus making me want to ****ing break my screen even more when the topic isn't even addressed in the scenario where she survives.

But it was hard to tell if she was talking about Cerberus or the Reaper threat. I'd like to think she was talking about both.

Commander Shepard has become a legend by ending the Reaper threat. Now you can continue to build that legend through further gameplay and downloadable content.

Does anyone here think the EC is only going to be about 5 minutes long? And if they do a slide show ala Fallout: New Vegas, forget it.

4+ months of work for a 5 minute long DLC?
Not even Mac Walters is that retarded.

There's the real problem. They had to clean the mess left by Walters.
Yes, that's the impression I get. The whole setup was like for a forced death, and then they didn't go through with it. Good that they didn't - that would've been the last straw making me walk away from Mass Effect - but the dangling thread that resulted in is all the more annoying since there was *the* opportunity to do something with her right in the next mission on Cronos Station. I still can't quite believe that it didn't occur to them that Miranda must be there.jtav wrote...
I think she was "supposed" to be romanced. She's forced on you in 3 nearly as badly as Liara and the only reason Liara is grating more is more screentime. Note the only time you hear the ME2 love theme is at the end of her mission. The problem comes in is that they had this awesome tearjerker of a final scene if she dies with face stroking (never mind whether you romanced her) and the good kind of melodrama. And they had no clue what to do if she lived. It's like they wamted to kill her (like Thane) but were afraid to ****** us off.
Unsurprisingly. The comparison with ME2 shows just how much Miranda has lost.dtrain24 wrote...
Lol, if you type "Mass Effect 3 Miranda Lawson screenshots" into Google images, most of the pictures are ME2 screenshots. Sooooo many awesome ME2 Miranda screenshots!!

I don't know... This is the same guy that helped hype up the endings, only for them to be criticized and then proclaim that the ending "isn't a big deal" and "it's all about the journey."
*looks around* Did I hear someone say something suspiciously similar to "It can't possibly get worse"? Don't tempt fate.o Ventus wrote...

Apart from that, a slide show would be better than nothing.

Isn't that at least what Ieldra's least favourite theory implies? If everything after Eden Prime (in ME1) was a fevered dream, then they'll have outdone Dallas' infamous "it was all a dream" series, and further invalidate everything from the very start of ME1 onwards.
As far as I'm aware, wasn't it BioWare that didn't contact Beattie? I seem to recall he even made an appeal to fans so he could return as Mordin.o Ventus wrote...
She could have just pulled a Beattie, but she didn't.
I'm going to sound pretty sad for remembering this (I can recall pointless junk rather well...) but I think she was having trouble getting the new Angry Birds levels on her iPad while she was shooting I, Frankenstein. Eventually she got replies about getting them via her laptop and transferring them over. Then she said something like "Thank you! No more Angry Yvonnes! Happy Yvonnes! (Tra la la)"dtrain24 wrote...
Remember "Angry Yvonnes"?
Where'd that even come from?
If they do that and don't immediately put out the "real" trilogy (because the Prothean beacon was definitely warning about something), I'll put the games on Ebay.kratos0294 wrote...
