Walters won't be heading anything major for a while though, at least he wouldn't were I come from. Hudson is in the toilet as well. He'll never be able to promote publicly again in the same capacity. They really messed up. The price of failure is steep. They'll always have jobs, but the public scorn will always be the worst.
But this thread is about Miranda, so we should probably get back on topic. I hope they can get her into some DLC in the future, barring the EC satisfies people. I'd pay for some Cerberus DLC.
I haven't tried out those Cerberus Operatives in MP because I haven't unlocked them. I'd like that lash ability though, and that would be a fun bonus power reward for completing the DLC.

I would like to see Miranda having Lash (or Smash, since Javik took Slam from her) in a Cerberus DLC. It could be her "friendship" bonus power (the bonus powers you unlock via squadmate dialogue paths).

But I can't see Miranda using that power for much of anything. From a physicality standpoint it makes no sense.

She might have other uses for it, but it wouldn't be for combat.

But Miranda has no reason to lash someone. She isn't good in close quarters, as one can well imagine.
What makes you say this?
She managed to fight off Storm Shadow-- I mean, Kai Leng.

Lash can reach pretty far. Wait till you unlock one of the Cerberus dudes, it's pretty awesome.
And it would suit Miranda about as well as Slam, combat-wise.

She isn't meant for close quarters combat. My Shepard would be. Unless she's near him all she's doing is putting herself in danger.
But she could always find other uses.

Tactical Scan is another one I could easily see her using. It fits her "brains v. brawn" motif.

Not a bad idea.
I don't know about Lash, tbh. But... maybe.

I wasn't sure of Lash either. I was going along with what you guys thought with that.
There are plenty of other Biotic abilities to choose from though that you could give her, if not Slam again.

Unless she has a load of pellets coming from a shotgun or a slug coming from the Crusader she isn't going to do herself much good. An SMG isn't very good at close range.
At least in my experience.

I think Slam would be best. Squadmates recycle powers all the time.

In the #FindMiranda group I suggested the first three powers like you and the last I suggested Incinerator, but now that I think about, no point in having warp and incinerator together and Miranda is a tactician, so your idea makes a lot more sense.
Edit: As of lash, I see that on Miranda working perfectly with my Vanguard or Infiltrator. Lash would be perfect if followed by charge since it would cause BE and as for the Infiltrator, lash doesn't necessarily pull a person towards from what I've seen so far (though I could be wrong about that), she could use it to lift targets and Shep would shoot them on air when they were vulnerables and unlike the power Lift, Lash works on shields.

I don't remember.
Miranda was also great for combos in the second game.
Something that was missing in the third...

Does slam cause Biotic explosions?
"Warp bombs"? yeah, while the target is momentarily floating (before the Slam itself), it can be done.

WHY isn't she in the third game? She was FAR more useful than EDI.

It can also detonate DoT biotics (like Dark channel) when the target hits the ground.

They needed someone to have sex with Joker.
I guess EDI's original "talking vagina" image wasn't sexual enough.

ME2 (squadmate)- Could slam a guy across the room
ME3 (temp squadmate idea)- with Lash, could throw a guy across the room.
I don't see where the problem is.
