Also guys, while business is booming on the thread, I figured I'd mention we should fire off a tweet or two (no more than two really, we don't want to spam) to some of the more...unappreciative of Miranda devs tomorrow.
Tomorrow because today's fathers day, and we want to stand out. So I suggest tweeting guys like Priestly and Walters, just to spread the love, haha. Might as well show them our dedication. Least they can do is look at the tweets.

Ooh, first post on the new page.

Babi and I like this author.
But make sure you read the actual post I made, haha! Don't let Miranda's beauty get in the way of our plans! Image IPB

Walters doesn't deserve any tweets, he ruined ME.

Man I'm sorry, but that will always be "All work and no play" Miranda to me.

Not sure, ask the artist. Image IPB
The picture came out before ME3 though, but it definitely reminds me of her expression when she says "No deal" after killing Henry.

I don't see what this close-quarters talk has to do with possible biotic powers. There's no "biotic sniping", everything she can do biotically would have to be done at close-medium range. So why exactly are people assuming she's made of glass now?

ME2 (squadmate)- Could slam a guy across the room
ME3 (temp squadmate idea)- with Lash, could throw a guy across the room.

I don't see where the problem is.

Actually, in ME2 Miranda's character, as far as gameplay went, was practically made of glass, she was one of the squads with the least health, which felt like a contradiction to her physical superiority.

I would say that was more to balance the gameplay. Otherwise, she had some of the strongest offensive powers (Warp and Overload, I miss AoE Overload), and her passive was the only one that affected the entire squad at once.

Without the reduced health, she would be massively OP.

Eh, they needed to nerf Miranda somehow.
But I guess it was pretty bad writing by the point you bring up.

The point is she can hold her own in a fight (and as far as I remember she rarely went down on my playthroughs). And if she can use Slam, she can use Lash.

I'm all for expressive sexuality but robosexuality is new to me. But that's cool Bioware, they are two consenting individuals. One man and one...machine.

Patrick Weekes is the guy you want, as he actually gets the idea behind the game. He's the guy who understands how important the characters are to the players.

I have no idea. The author didn't really give a description, I guess she(?) chose to leave that up to our imagination. I think it was before ME3.

Given what we know about the ME writers and designers, I don't think her low health was intentional so she wouldn't be OP, I think it was stupidy on their part.

I'm going to imagine it's Shepard and Miranda's role-playing night.

Shepard is the "Alliance Marine" fighting against Miranda's "Cerberus Agent".

They wear each other down for a while, then proceed to make sweet, sweet love.

That's how wars are fought, right?

Truthfully, I'm dreading the EC as much as anticipating it. I've concocted a reasonably happy end and repaired the damage to Miranda's character. I'm terrified they'll confirm the galaxy is screwed, turn my preferred choice into something I hate, and/or kill Miranda.

You worry too much. Not because they might not do something stupid, but because it doesn't really matter if they do. It will be ultimately self-defeating. If anything, ME3 should have made that really obvious.

I'm more concerned about the people who WON'T be satisfied with just a LI reunion. That will patch things up for me, everything else is a bonus.

Is that enough for everyone else here?

I'm just going to have to bury the others flaws in the back of my head.

It's not my personal priority, but a lot of people want it, so it should be there.

See, I'm just the opposite. Romantic concerns aren't even registering in my brain. Mostly worldbuilding stuff. What we have now is bad, but I'm rather attached to the way I filled in the holes.

So I just finished my (presumably) final FShep's tune-up run during ME. For some reason, out of the deaths of the Rachni Queen, Wrex and the Council, it was Wrex's that bothered me most. So I won't be killing him off during her import run. I'll likely kill off the Rachni Queen (she'll be my third Shep to do so), but I'm not sure about the Council (probably will just to have a Shep that did so- and since she's very pro-Alliance, it would make more sense for her to do it).

Personally, a reunion isn't at the top of my list. They'll probably do it differently from how I see it in my head, and I'm perfectly fine imagining a reunion. The way they've written Miranda this installment makes me wary for a lengthy appearance anyways. I'd rather see the consequences of my decision and more details of the aftermath/rebuilding.

If they screw it up, I have no problem pretending the EC never existed. I'll just handwave it all away and live in the bliss that is my headcannon. That said, I think they realize that a lot is on the line. I'll be shocked if they completely screw it up. I'm not optimistic, but I'm not exactly worried either.

I could never kill Wrex.

Even my Paragon Shepard killed Rachni Queen because of Wrex's suggestion. And I was still getting used to ME at the time. It was my first playthrough, and you know how all new experiences go.
And for my Renegon Shep, well...obviously the Rachni Queen falls again. But I plan to let her live next playthrough.
