They won an award too
They were also the most 'liked' on Facebook
And this was their first time doing cosplay too

Well done I say!
I wonder if they frequent BSN?

Since Miranda is a Sentinel:

Which of these powers do you think she will have?

Warp and overload are surefire winners.

I don't think she will have her passive anymore, as Soldier Shepard gets that in ME3.
Just asked someone: Confirmed Soldier Shepard has the option to improve his henchmen damage by X%

Listening to what Casey H is saying at Comic Con at the moment, I'm growing more and more hopeful that Miranda's gonna have a bigger role to play. Especially considering the Illusive Man is having a bigger role in ME3, I'd love to see how Miranda would be involved in this...March is too far away.

Yes. I think it might be - and go - like this:

TIM is still in control of Cerberus. There is no indoctrination of Cerberus or TIM by the Reapers, but it's possible that TIM uses indoctrination on his soldiers. TIM's agenda (first posted here): to help the extinction of the other species along and hide from the Reaper occupation with those loyal to him, sacrificing the rest of humanity, in order to re-settle an emptied galaxy after the Reapers are gone. That would be compatible with his statement that humanity and Cerberus are one and the same.

We will meet TIM in person at some time, likely after having fought through a few hundred of his soldiers. He will try to convince us to go along with his plan. We will have the option to agree. If we do, he will become a quest-giver and the mission goals for the locations we still have yet to visit will change accordingly. If we don't, we'll have to kill him. If we kill him and Miranda is dead, Cerberus will be basically dismantled. If we kill him and Miranda is alive, we will have the option to replace him with her. Miranda will then turn Cerberus' resources to fighting the Reapers. We may be able to influence the way she does that - more or less human-centric for instance.

The only problem: TIM's scenario sounds too evil to go along with for it - there's no point in including it as an option if it's taken only by 1% of the players. So it's possible his scheme isn't quite as extreme, or they'll paint the situation as so desperate that it seems like a reasonable option. Likely our nonhuman team members and some of the humans won't go along with it either.

So far my predictions. Does anyone have a link to the footage of what was said at the 2pm event?

Casey really knows how to sell a game, the answers didn't really make me feel that much more comfortable though. He said he wants you to have satisfying resolution with characters, I am pretty sure my view on that varies vastly from his. :P

I agree. My tentative optimism is more fueled by what he said about the plot, TIM's role etc. rather than the characters. I have the feeling we will get less romance-exclusive content, but that's OK with me.

@Vertigo_1:
Thx for the link. Watched it all.

I find it more distracting that Melrache changes his avatar almost daily. It's a virtual slideshow of all the gifs in Yannkee's album.  (Not that i'm complaining!) ;)

I too am extremely skeptical. Hopefully we get some information regarding Miranda's role before March, I'd like to make an informed decision as to whether I will purchase the game.

I agree that Casey is extremely good at selling his product though, he's not quite at a Peter Molyneux level yet though.

Is there any other way to view the Bioware Pulse other then the official Bioware Site? The videos don't load properly for me, and there's no way to watch previous episodes.

I don't think anyone should aspire to Peter Molyneux's 'level' because he almost invariably ends up overhyping the game.

I get it, he's passionate and enthusiastic... but he ends up promising the world and thus people just end up disappointed in his products.

Yeah, but I've always been able to see through him. Casey doesn't promise too much and things he says might easily fit his own personal idea of the game. He isn't telling lies, if he says what he thinks.

Anyway bit off-topic: Who gets picked into the engineering, during Omega 4 Relay scene, if you got both Legion and Thane on your squad, but no Tali onboard? I know I could always recruit Tali and have her killed instead, but I am not sure if I can deal with her recruit mission now. :?

Kasumi. In fact, Kasumi always dies if you don't have the multicore shielding.

Damn, I'm just glad my exams kept me from keeping up with CC, no news on Miranda, anyone feels they'll trade Warp for Throw with her? I'm getting the feeling they're gonna nerf her abilities down and I'm not talking about just the passive.

... No. Kasumi is too high price, then I just take Tali and have her pay for her own mistake. :?

Yeah. I can see them getting rid of the passive ones, that affected whole group, though. If none of the squaddies are permanent, it wouldn't really make sense for them to have passive abilities like that, imo. The squad passive ones, will probably be Shepard only thing.

I am pretty sure Miri will have nice abilities, it wouldn't make sense to turn her into something useless, if she was one of the most effective squaddies in ME2.

Well, an analogy, in Origins the mage was way overpowered, in DA2 they didn't nerf the mage but they brought the other classes to its level (to an extent), but they can't do this with squadmates, if every squadmate had armor and shield affecting powers all of them would be overkill, now I don't see any reason why they'd nerf Miri's abilties unless "most used squadmate" was and understatement and her percentage was off the charts, but as I said before it's just a feeling.

I think she won't have the squad-affecting power, and that's OK. But Warp and Overload are expressions of her being widely competent. I'd hate to see that gone, and it would be bad for continuity. Good I don't have that feeling, or I'd also feel the need to complain...

I think she needs a nerf. She needs to have missions she is and is not suited for. Though I'd drop Overload (Cryo Blast suits her better) not Warp.

While I'm at it:

CH said that team members might leave or even become hostile based on decisions we make. Which kind of decision would drive Miranda away, and which will make her become our enemy? I have a hard time coming up with any, except sacrificing too much of humanity in the war.

@jtav:
Give away a double-useful ability for a useless one? I'd end up avoiding her on missions or downgrading the difficulty in order to take her. I can only hope the developers don't listen to you.

Why? I  don't see any reason for it, sure some people love to play on higher difficulty where you put viability over the character preference, but still I don't see why they should cater to that folk. I have Miri with me, because I enjoy having her on my squad. I see no reason why I should ever be punished for taking her everywhere.

Side with TIM in whatever his plan is.

@Ieldra, Melrache No squadmate should be so powered that it's clear they should be a fixture on the squad in nearly all situations. All squad members should be about equally useful, depending on player class.
