Wouldn't that be a really awkward moment...

Maybe he lost it in the war . . .

. . . or he's been eyeing up Cortez.

Looks like Miranda has some competition.

I tried looking up a response to o Ventus.

All I learned was that something is terribly wrong with my browser filter.

At least I didn't find that one piece he told me about.

I told you about a number of disturbing pieces.

Which is it this time?

The penis or something.

I just found it.

I'm not searching anymore.

Eh, as long I get to see more Miranda, I'll be a happy customer. If they can throw in some of the other shafted characters, I'll be even more happy.

I never really cared about the endings, all that can be easily fixed with head-canon.

And lore isn't really my strong suit, so all these "plot holes" people are seeing, never really phased me.

More Miranda is good. But romance-only content is not satisfactory. I want to see Miranda do something meaningful in the post-Reaper world. Even more so because Cyrus Shepard won't see her again this side of headcanon.

It's the other way round for me. I can fix romance content in headcanon easily, as long as Miranda survives. I can't as easily repair the damage done to her character in ME3.

As for the lore, I'm a worldbuilder. Few things are more annoying for me than inconsistent world design and a story breaking previously-established lore for no better reason than drama or visual effects or because the writers don't care. And things like sound in space can make me scream at the monitor. If you build a world, you should do it right. And you should stick with what you've built even when it becomes inconvenient. There's always ways to work around those difficulties.

This is why I can't take your Synthesis threads seriously. You get angry at sound effects added to make the cutscene more interesting to watch, but you're fine with the most scientifically impossible thing this series has the balls to try.

Something is seriously wrong with my filter.

Either that or everyone gets some REALLY explicit images when they search for "Miranda Lawson'.

I agree Ieldra. More Miranda is needed, especially in context to the story.

Easily my favorite quote from Kasumi.

And now I'm sad, because her role was tissue-paper thin in ME3.

I think they need to address the lack of realism with Cerberus. Regardless of how I feel about them, they need a DLC to flesh them out more in ME3. I want to know more explicitly about what they've been up to in the last six months. They're far too interesting to just turn into "Us and Them" bad guys.

And it would be criminal if Miranda wasn't there to give us perspective.

We definitely need something regarding Cerberus. They were completly butchered in ME3. They were so interesting in ME2. I really enjoyed how morally grey they were. In ME3, they look like some bad guys taken from a bad B movie. It's trully a shame. A DLC with a Cerberus arc, fleshing them out, with Miranda as a temporary squadmate would salvage so much.

She needs more screen time in ME3

We could write an outline for something if you'd like o Ventus. Something Cerberus related? And send it to Bioware?

I'm not suprised.

Bioware has to be aware of how one sided Cerberus is in the third game. I don't like them, but they still need more fleshing out.

Would you like to take bets on who made Cerberus one dimensional to make them into "Hollywood" Bad Guys? <_<

Probably not Walters. He did an amazing job with the endings

As much as I don't like Cerberus, ME2 had some of the best writing I've ever seen in a video game. They really were doing the right thing, even if I despised TIM and his methods.

That's good writing.

Mac Walters applies B-comic logic to his writing. o Ventus uses the phrase "pants on head retarded", and I think that's a good description for the writing style.

'If we make them REALLY evil Casey, they'll be great villains!" <_<

I like those moments when the characters actually comment on other crew members.

"Miranda is undoubtedly a hard woman. I respect her strength and determination. She carries many burdens and doesn't share them with others. As it should be."

Walters seems to be more of an action-y, George Lucas-esque writer. He focuses more on visual effects with good vs bad storytelling, and it's clear you 'supposed' to play as a good guy. I wanted to see Cerberus as the people who ultimately found the key to defeating the reapers, but due to their corruption and indoctrination, they failed. I'm more for the morally grey zone such as who are the real bad guys? What would changing the balance of powers in the galaxy do to the races? Harder questions to ask. ME3 failed to give us that. It focused to much on the action and visuals to sell the game. And Miranda, going back to Walters, he probably intended us to play as Paragon Liaramancers or Ashleymancers who are tempted by Miranda, and then we return to our 'true love' in ME3. ME3 just feels too much like they force you down one road.

It's funny you mention her as a temptress. I've always considered Miranda's romance to be the most mature. It actually feels like you've made someones life better. I see absolutely no reason to hurt someone. I don't romance anyone in the first game anyway, so isn't an issue.

Tali would spread her legs if Shepard asked for it.

Liara can't wait to spread her legs.

Ashley doesn't really consider it a relationship it appears.

The only one who takes it seriously in context is Miranda.

The "temptress" thing comes from her appearance (relative to other women, like Ash, Liara, and Tali) and her appearance in ME2 (After Sheaprd potentially has his way with either Ash or Liara).

But I agree with your post.
