"I'll always want you in my life." Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 3

She doesn't fawn over Shepard though. That High School giggle mentality does't take over. You have to, you know, work at it, like a real relationship. She also knows more about him than anyone else.
Liara is obsessed, that's for sure, and to the point that it's weird sometimes. Like, real weird.

The "temptress" thing comes from her appearance (relative to other women, like Ash, Liara, and Tali) and her appearance in ME2 (After Sheaprd potentially has his way with either Ash or Liara).
But I agree with your post.
Agreed also. In appearance she fits the "temptress" role, but in behavior she does not.

She isn't anything like the way she dresses. She's far more interesting because of this. Although I won't complain about HOW she's dressed, it isn't necessary to understand her.

More Miranda is good. But romance-only content is not satisfactory. I want to see Miranda do something meaningful in the post-Reaper world. Even more so because Cyrus Shepard won't see her again this side of headcanon.
It's the other way round for me. I can fix romance content in headcanon easily, as long as Miranda survives. I can't as easily repair the damage done to her character in ME3.
I'm the opposite i want that Miranda finds Shep moment or the Miranda mourns Shep moment. The longer -term stuff as to what Shep and Miranda do i want left up to headcanon. Just set my feet on the path of what each ending means and how the galaxy recovers in each ending coupled with some closure for friends/crew matesLI's and Shep whether he/she is alive or dead.

So I'm curious, just started a Mirmancer. Who here used a Paragon Shepard and who used a Renegade Shepard?
I play as a Paragon. Positive actions only. Kindness.
I didn't even know that there was another way to do this.
Ieldra might know. I don't think he...I don't know.
I think the less agressive, Paragon musing is best.

Do you mean for the romance dialogues, or overall?
For the romance dialogues, I go full paragon all the way through (except for the "who said anything about love?" line, I hate that with a passion).
Overall, I go more for paragade. Like, 95% paragon, with a small dash of renegade in there, where I feel it makes more sense.

No, but in all honesty, most of the things Shepard says while romancing Miranda makes me cringe.

I have gone the full Paragon way with her... and my Paragade 75/25 Shepard.Terrorize69 wrote...

Only neutral option was to avoid the "Love? I just wanna get you into bed!". I don't think it's funny at all in that situation.
Only renegade option was to not promise her to come back.

Ugh. Just been looking through the top (most viewed) polls on this site, which span back ages. So many have Miranda finishing top or very high in those "If one squadmate could return in ME3, who would you pick?" and similar ones. I assume BioWare just ignore those.

I've also looked at those. And yeah. But then, she was the most used squad mate in ME2.
It's probably not fair to say they ignored it, though. Instead they:
1) Borrowed a lot of ideas from Miranda for EDI.
2) Revamped Ashley to look more like Miranda.
3) Made the squad as a whole function more like Miranda in terms of gameplay (some type of buff and defense stripping)
4) Spent a lot of time on the breakup scene.
And made sure Miranda didn't get anywhere near the Normandy and had crappy romance content

I did a Paragon romance with Miranda even with my Renegade Shepard. As for my Paragon Shep...well yeah, Paragon romance.
Enjoy Miranda!

Both, but thanks
And thanks to everyone else who replied <3
Got 3 Renegade Sheps atm that I'm playing that same time as this one lol (Garrusmancer, Ashmancer, Kelly/Sam-mancer) So it's nice to have a new paragon to play

Can I just say here that I hate when people ship Miranda with Kaidan? It feels like the people who ships them and see them happening haven't been playing the same game I have.
Romances between 2 starkly different characters (in general) annoys me.
But Kaidan+Miranda is easily the worst of the bunch.

Well, I don't really 'ship. But... isn't the whole idea of 'shipping or slash that people like to pair off characters in unlikely/surprising ways and play around with that?
That just seems to be part of the attraction.
I just fail to see anything forming between Kaidan, who is fanatically loyal to the Alliance, and Miranda, who is implicitly anti-Alliance.

I don't disagree (or really care one way or another), but my point is more: that is probably why it is an attractive 'ship to some people.

That and the fact that the two have only encountered each other like what...once? Twice maybe?

Yeah, I just can't understand the appeal. Also, wouldn't happen in a hundred years. That guy arguing, I don't think he ships them either, everytime there's a Miranda argument of some sort he goes his way to disagree with her fans.
