I wasn't even directly involved in the posters and I can see it did a great job of bringing everyone together, and you should all be proud of what you've accomplished. It's great knowing you wonderful people.

And even if BioWare aren't forthright in their comments, they will always have those images there to remind them, and they will see how much the fans appreciate the characters, even those that can seem a little controversial. I consider that a success.

we will always have mass effect 2 ;)

ME2 will remain my favorite video game, but I'm not sure I will be able to play it again.
I have a bad feeling about the EC and all the future Mass Effect content, and I feel I should forget this universe and its characters before I get even more disappointed.

yann, i'm playing ME2 again on my new account and I'm having a blast. To me, for now, the story ended after the lair of the shadow broker. And I'll keep playing it as much as I want to. I love those characters, I love those scenarios. It's great seeing Kasumi and Miranda talking about Shepard's orders when recruiting Samara, it's excellent to see Garrus' comments, Samara's speaches, and everything about Miranda.  What matter is what is there. The rest of it? That pseudo continuation? That will remain in my shelf, and I won't care about it.

I didn't hate the Terminator franchise after Terminator 3. I didn't hate Batman due to some movies in the past. I didn't hate the X-Men comics and cartoons due to the movies.
I love to re-play my games. That's why my Sega Genesis/Mega Drive is working till today and it's still used a lot. Mass Effect will be no different.

Yeah, I know. And I still love ME2, this game is perfect.
But sorry I can't forget Miranda's treatment in ME3 and the ending when I'm playing ME2. The trilogy could have been an amazing experience, unfortunately the last chapter ruined everything.

I just wanted to reiterate everything Hot_Heart and Rach said, I couldn't have said it better myself.
I'm so damn proud of what we put together. And even if Bioware doesn't like what we did, so what? We worked our butts off, and produced something for us to be proud of. I can't tell you how many friends I made on this site by discussing Miranda herself and the project we conducted involving her. I had a blast personally, and we should all be proud of what we put together. Hopefully Bioware realizes this and gives us more Miranda content. If not, I'll still be here, and I'm sure the rest of us will. We're a team, and it's nice to know we'll stick together.
I'm very happy with what we've accomplished and what we'll continue to accomplish...thanks everyone.

great pic ;)

yeah, I know and understand your feeling. All of that happened is very disappointing. I dunno if I'm getting old or whatever the hell is happening, I'd rather keep the 'happy memories' of things. I guess I have a lot to worry about on my everyday life, so my hobbies should be things that bring a smile to a face, not a frown.

And if Bioware doesn't like all the work you guys put in, it just shows who they really are.

I get the feeling Bioware are in a defensive repel all boarders mode at the moment. I would certainly hope and expect that they appreciate the quality of the artwork.

The posters could be like an awkward situation for BioWare.

It's like, you know, if you have a friend who really likes you, but you're not that interested yet you manage to keep things amicable. Then they send you a love letter, and you're flattered, you really are, but how do you react without giving them the wrong impression or being impolite?

Basically, Miranda got friendzoned. :P

ahah but it is interesting to see the different reactions. "Yay, we got the posters, good job guys, here's a photo, yay², cheers, whatever" and then "we got them."

One thing to remember is that this stuff is as much a gesture of defiance as anything.

Something like: I get it, I get it, you don't want us to be interested in Miranda anymore. But it's not working Posted Image

Edit: Basically Posted Image'd by the good doctor.

I wonder if they're just getting tired of receiving these "fan initiatives". It has become kind of a fad around here. Of course you don't get so easily tired of something you like, therefore...

I think when you get used to having hand grenades chucked into your bunker you start to view every object that gets chucked in with suspicion even if it turns out to be an apple.

We are actually having a Miranda statue dropped from orbit next Thursday.

We are giving them two days advanced warning on twitter, though, and I think the parachute will work.

So I take it the giant bronze statue I had shipped to Edmonton was a bad move?

Well, the #FindMiranda SWAT team can always be sent in to assure that it is properly displayed and that each and every Bioware employee pays it appropriate hommage upon entering the building.

Oh excellent. This will go well with our Canada Day weekend plan. In a move totally not ripped for from cartoons, we are nearly finished constructing a giant laser that on July 1st, will etch a likeness of Miranda on the moon. Complementary telescopes will also be shipped to Bioware.

That reminds me... we really do need to set up a chip-in for the moon-etching project pronto.

Not the kind of thing you want to leave until the last-minute.

"They're certainly keeping hush about the statue. In fact, no one on the dev team has said anything at all."
