As I see it, the best thing they could do is copy Siduri's scenario from the Unofficial Epilogues. They could've done it since they were made in March, before the EC was even announced.Taboo-XX wrote...

What will you do then?
Not even I will be able to give you ****, as I will truly be in AWE of Bioware.
I'm gonna laugh when they copy Ieldra's headcannon for it.
They had the script written and were in production before Ieldra made that thread.
Bioware is deciding what happens.

I think that they could keep a drawback in high EMS destroy by having it disable the relays, while making it clear that relatively little damage is done beyond that. It would still change galactic civilisation a lot. But in epilogues they could show that civilisation recovers.
It would still basically be adding a "happy" ending, a "victory" ending, but it could pass as clarification.
I'd be happy with disabled relays. Also an alternative would be that only some are destroyed in high EMS would make sense. Don't see why every relay would have the same breaking point and therefore some should survive the energy beam transfer.
As far as Miranda is concerned i just want the find and kiss re-union or the mourn if dead scene. In an ideal world i'd like a dilaogue wheel for a so what now? with a variation of responses from Shep.a dialogue. I'd prefer they don't map out her long term career future firmly or anyone elses. If they do i want her to create a reformed Cerberus to push for humanity's galactic role in the face of the likely isolationsist tendencies of government's in the aftermath of the war.

I actually agree that it's in the spirit of both Destroy and Synthesis to destroy the relays. But we need to see a hopeful vision of rebuilding with non-relay tech. Maybe with upgrading conventional FTL in Destroy and finding something new and exotic in Synthesis.flemm wrote...

I maintain my position that the Relays must be completely and utterly destroyed in any ending besides Control. Don't go against the spirit of an ending simply because it is a downer.
While I understand your perspective, they may feel, with some... *ahem* ...justification, that it is not a time for half measures, and that the "win" ending needs to really feel like a win.

As for single missions, I'd go with Virmire (meeting Sovereign) and ME2's SM. But I'd rate the Rannoch mission sequence higher if you count all of them together. I'd count Tuchanka, too, but I'm too annoyed at the romanticized bullcr*p standard stance towards the genophage.dtrain24 wrote...

I'd disagree that it is against the spirit of endings destroy and synthesis for relays to survive in some form. If they have all relays destroyed in those 2 endings and a quick fix in control it would completely unbalance the endings. Control would suddenly have no sacrifice other than Shep losing his human form versus destroy(shep dies unless super high EMS), Geth die, Edi dies, relays destroyed and Synthesis- Shep dies, every species changed fundamentally against their will, relays destroyed.

In my opinion she would probably be the confessional drunk type. Horny too, I could definitely see her relentlessly teasing Shepard.
About my favorite missions in the series, in ME1 it would be Virmire, speaking to Sovereign is one of the best moments in the series.
In ME2, Mordin's RM is great. I really like Omega's atmosphere and meeting Professor Solus for the first time is pure gold. I also really liked Thane's RM. Miranda's LM is obviously one of my favorite missions as well.
In ME3, the Sur-Kesh/Tutchanka episode is the only part of the game that stood out from the rest imo.

Very nice! The no-fingers hold on the glass caught my attention, but overall I really like the tone (both literally and metaphorically), and her expression.
…
‘Good genes’ don’t really do much for you when it comes to poisons like alcohol  Even the sturdiest wino has built up his tolerance via practice, not talent.
Although maybe I only say that because I wrote Miri getting a bit east of tipsy…

Thanks! And yes, it took me a while to attempt that even in the sketch phase, and then I decided that Miranda would just have magic fingers
I didn't put an insane amount of effort into finishing it, but I like some of the things I tried.
Thanks Asakawa, it's always nice to get a comment from a pro!

Pro? Who, what, me? Oh my, you made my day, haha! ^^ Thank you, one day I'll get there =D
If time applied to it wasn't enough as you wished, you can always go back to the drawing and fix things here and there!
That reminds me that I have to fix some things in the Miranda Spectre drawing! But that will have to wait till I get my pc back *sigh*

I always wondered what happend to the Conduit from ME1. If the blueprints still existed you could build a network of smaller terrestrial Mass Relays that would allow for Stargate-style interstellar travel. Once the design is figured out you could send the schematics for how to build the device to other world via unmanned probe.
As for Synthesis, I'm kind of working with the idea that Eden is a construct similar to the Geth Consensus. Organics gain the Geth's abillity to communicate between one another without regard for distance. Shepard isn't dead, his consiousness exists within Eden, he's just missing a physical body. This concept is similar to the race of virtual aliens from Bioware's Cerberus Daily News series. Going off of this theory, interstellar travel for individuals might not require Mass Relays to function. A person's consiousness could be transfered to a mobile platform on another world using quantum entanglement tech.

I always enjoyed reading the Cerberus Daily News. Now that you mentioned it, I can see the connection. You know that reminds me of that one quest at the Huerta hospital. Didn't they have you side with one of the two ladies arguing about if he was dead or not? Or something like that. Can't remember... I'll have to find that quest again but it seemed similar to what you brought up. Hmm...
