I don't watch television. I work with actresses. It's entirely possible if I worked on it I could end up working behind the camera on a movie she's in.

**** gets weird when you associate things like this with people.

Two separate people. I can't do that, I'm sorry.

Thank you! Less talk of arbitrary ending bull**** and more talk of Miranda makes CrutchCricket very happy!

I agree with both of these. A while ago we all liked fencing as a hobby of present Miranda. But I think she wouldn't have to be secretive about that one, as it is fairly high-class, good excercise etc. Come to think of it, she wouldn't have to hide classic literature either. But if she was also reading...comics let's say?:wizard:

Hahah *cue Dr. Doctor's dialogue*

Shepard: I never took you for someone who reads comic books.

Miranda: It's something I picked up after I spent a few years in one of Cerberus' R&D cells. The engineers I worked with were obsessed with early twenty-first century pop culture and it showed in their designs.

Shepard: Showed up how?

Miranda: Well, I'm wearing a skintight jumpsuit that can stop a mass accelerator round. Jet boots are standard issue for all Cerberus commando units, and there's always those giant robots that we have stored away...

Are you saying I'm screwed in the head because I can't find a girl I like because a combination of two fictional characters and the actress that portray's either of them has ruined women for me by making my standards WAY too high? Because you'd be totally right.

Google Chrome seems to hate BBcode tags.

There are downsides to having comic book obsessed engineers in Cerberus too:

Leng: These goggles are horrible, I have no peripheral vision in them.

Tech: Yeah but they look awesome. Here's your sword.

Leng: What is this, the middle ages? Why can't I have one of those Omni-blades like everyone else?

Tech: 'Cause real swords are so much cooler than energy swords. Plus, it complements the whole Storm Shadow look you have going.

Leng: What?

Tech 2: Hey check this out! We adapted that control chip Lawson didn't use to Leng's cybernetic upgrades! We can make him say these kickass taunts when he's fighting Shepard!

Leng: (sighs) I just wanted my legs back...

I remember when The Avengers talk first started and a lot of people wanted Yvonne as Miss Marvel. I say our next campaign should be Yvonne for Miss Marvel, maybe we'll have better luck with the folks of Marvel/Disney than we did with the people at BioWare.

I think she'd make a good Emma Frost as well. But that tart January Jones got it instead :(

I wonder if Yvonne would have been a Good Black Widow? It sucks that Yvonne hasn't been in Big "Successful" Films yet. What gives?

I want to see Yvonne in a Very Successful Film, which results in her being Nominated for Best Actress Of The Year, either in the Golden Globes, or in the Oscars.

I think so as well. It's hard to think of a good blonde that would do Emma justice.

But... oh man. Emma Frost. Yvonne Strahovski. Putting the two together? I think the entire nerddom can die happy after that.

As someone who regularly reads comics, specifically Marvel, I would think she would've made a fine Black Widow (But I want the damn Russian accent!). She's got "The Guilt Trip" and "I, Frankenstein" coming out early next year. That'll give her some much needed exposure. Could take that for what's worth. These things can take time.

Edit: I completely support Yvonne for Captain Marvel! Let's do it! :)

You want a "karma ending", see inFamous 2. But enough of this, thread derailing, sanity escaping... Back to Miranda.

Back when she was under her father's rule, we know he didn't allow her much of a social life. I imagine most of her time was spent in studies, striving to be perfect. But when she did have a reprieve what hobbies/ secret pleasures do you think she had?

I think she'd be a book worm or maybe wanting to learn all about history... human or alien... Some kind of literature that makes her think and expand her mind. :)

Agreed, I've always taken that for granted. And for more physical activities: fencing and speedboats.

Can't imagine her reading comics. That dialogue about Cerberus designers was apt though

Edit:
LOL, Kai Leng must be one of the most ridiculed antagonists in video game history.
