"Don't worry about it, glad it was cleared up...So officially the word on Yvonne is 'can't comment right now'?"
"That is the official word, and I feel extra bad because I honestly don't know anything about it right now. :("

"And it's even worse because I actually don't know anything about Miranda's VO. That's above my pay grade. :("

She's probably negotiating contract and ownership rights since not only are we dealing with a voice but with her face as well. How much of Yvonne does Bioware own exactly? And then they have to negotiate a schedule for Yvonne to work around since she's also filming Chuck in LA - which shouldn't be that difficult as Bioware does record there and up north.
I don't know if finding time will be a problem. VO sessions can go up to 4 hours. I'm sure she can fit it in her schedule.

I'm with you on Miranda, too much story potential to pass up, but Grunt? I'm skeptical.

I think it's the whole thing where Grunt considers Shepard his battlemaster and wouldn't leave his side...
Although you could not open his pod entirely in the game...or not do his loyalty mission....or get him killed...hmm

Also while we're speaking of story involvement, does anyone want Miranda's impact on the story to be as big as "if she's dead, TIM gets away because we can't reach his base of operations", it'd really make a for a grave consequence for letting some of your squadmates die in ME2.
Edit: And to clarify, you still overcome Cerberus, but you fail to wipe them out completely because TIM escaped and can come back or something along these lines.

Yes, I definitely want unavoidable and big consequences if Miranda is dead. Though, as I've posted earlier this day, I'd like more to be like this: When you take down Cerberus' main base and Miranda is dead, Cerberus will be dismantled. If Miranda is alive, she'll have knowledge of Cerberus's structure and you have the option of making her take over, giving you additional resources to fight the Reapers and the knowledge Cerberus gained from the Collector base if you kept it.ViSeirA wrote...
