My Shepard was more a Vanguard than an Infiltrator. If you know what I mean. (I sure don't)

Infiltrator?! I hardly know 'er!

Actually, smarter women are the ones who like to vary things up.

They will try ALL THE THINGS. And I mean ALL THE THINGS.

And as is made clear, Miranda is a very smart woman.

I can imagine Miri having the "Lash" Ability. I imagine her wanting you to come to bed. You say you are busy so you can't. Then she uses Lash to pull you to her, then she will tell you that she wasn't asking.:D

It's almost as if she enjoys the Renegade romance more than the Paragon. Damn shame my Shep is pure paragon. Maybe I ought to do a renegade run.

Lol I could dig it.  I actually went and watched Chuck from start to finish after playing ME3 just to get more Miri. Although she isn't really Miri (duh) she plays a very similar character. I highly recommend it!

^ Yeah, especially in the Season 4 Episode: "Chuck Versus Phase Three" (One Of My Personal Favorite Episodes). The way Sarah was Portrayed in that Episode was like looking at something that Miri would do if We (Shepard) were in trouble.

I can imagine her asking questions in a bar to a human, or an Alien (Possibly Batarian). Then the human (or Alien) tries to flirt with Miri, resulting in her kicking the guy's ass. She then pulls out her Weapon and asks, "Anyone else want to be my Boyfriend??"

Miranda: It's getting awfully late, Shepard. You should come to bed with me.

Shepard: *rubs eyes* I can't, I need to finish filing these mission reports.

M: *lash* They can wait. I wasn't asking.

S: *lands on the bed next to Miranda* You know... I find it very difficult to refuse you, Miranda.

But that makes sense. I think BW really screwed up with the romances in the sense that no matter if Shep is a paragon or a renegade he/she will always be irresistible to anyone. I find unrealistc that in ME1 Liara and Kaidan would romance a full renegade Shepard, same thing with Tali in ME2 and full paragon Shepard is an Alliance lapdog, I don't think Miranda would be attracted to him if he were like that. In the whole game the romance only made sense for Jack, the psycho who just wants to be loved and accepted, which is why she romances a paragon Shepard but can have sex with a renegade one.

I wish ME was like that for all the romance options. Everybody seems to love Shepard and we all know that no matter how much people respect him/her, not everyone should agree with his choices or even like him. The folks of the DA development team should teach something to the devs of ME, like how to make romances more believable.

But I can totally see Miri going for a Paragon Shep. She has this tough exterior she's put on to survive in the world of espionage, but she's actually a woman who is incredibly insecure and in need of someone to teach her to love herself.

I say this from the point of view of a depressive (in RL) and I can tell her character was written by someone who suffered from non-serious bouts of depression on a regular basis, since all the signs are there in her dialogue. Just seems to click for me.

What would actually happen:

Miranda: (placing a bandage on Shepard's shoulder) Sorry about that, I used a little too much force that time.

Shepard: It's alright. Not the first time I've ever been thrown into a bulkhead and it probably won't be the last.

Miranda: We can always try again, I promise I'll be gentle.

Shepard: The last time you said you'd be gentle I ended up on by back in the engine room.

Ah well. Guess I will just have to obtain the pie of my choice by conventional means Image IPB

You cannot obtain pie by conventional means. It is simply impossible.

You will require the assistance of a deus ex machina device hidden deep in the archives at the Bakery, passed down through hundreds of generations of bakers.

On your adventure, you must collect "Ingredients" to increase your "Effective Culinary Score" to unlock new flavors of pie.

These amazing flavors range from Lime, Cherry, and BlueBerry!

Sorry EDI and the geth. I know you all are deathly allergic to cherry, but I like cherry. :crying:

But a paragon Shepard happens to be completely against Cerberus and 100% pro Alliance. Picking always the paragon response won't do him much help. There's no problem in him being a paragon when it comes to Miranda and their personal dialogues, but when it comes to business I can't imagine Miranda appreciating his anti-Cerberus views and I imagine Miranda thinking a pro Alliance Shepard is a naive idiot.

I agree with both of you.
I prefer Paragon Shepard for the romance because Renegade makes it feel like a fling. Paragon romance Shep is completely believable and the way he thaws Miranda out is perfect.
But I agree with Babi's last post. Which is why if I play canon, I play as a Paragade. I usually make the moral decision, but my Shepard prefers Cerberus. He feels they were right in ME2 and the Alliance were bumbling idiots when it came to the colonies.  Cerberus brought him back to life and treated him pretty well, and had a good cause at the time. The least Shepard could do is support their cause.

Playing paragon is nice and sweet as long as you don't pick the rape face option of "Who needs love?". But in some cases, the renegade option is much better, like the kiss and when they hug.

Could Miranda respect a Paragon enough to love him? Depends on the Paragon. If the Paragon-ness is primarily rooted in status-quo bias and love of the Alliance, then no. If it's principle-based, and it was something lived out, I think she could respect that. They'll butt heads, but ideally they'll be the heart and the brain working together.

As for romance, Renegade. It's funny and he helps her snap herself out of her low mood,

I agree with everything above, the "who needs love" is bad paragon and hug scene is good renegade, but the kiss is the worse option imo.
In Paragon he tells her that she has accomplished these things herself and she can be proud of it. The kiss more goes into the flirt direction than serious relationship.

I guess that scene is heavy depended on which kind of romance you want. Renegade enjoy the sexy and ruthless Miranda, flirting her out of the serious business, while Paragon comfort and care for her softer (imo also deeper) side.

Clarification: When I say I play paragon, that means paragade. For example I don't play grand theft effect, killing hostages and the like, BUT I do agree with Cerberus in ME2, since the Alliance and Council are a bunch of useless ****s. I even tell them to go f*ck themselves when the give me SPECTRE status again.

So yes, I believe in paragade in that my Shep isnt so paragon that he is afraid to make tough decisions, but he's not pure renegade since he believes strongly in saving as many people as possible, etc

It would be very easy for an ideal-driven head-strong woman to fall for a person like that.  He also has a clean bill of health.. other than, you know, spending two years dead.

I play as a Paragon, with a bit of Renegade here and there (punching reporters, headbutting Krogan etc.)

I agree with Ramil up there. Cerberus is right in ME2, which is why I am more than willing to help them. The Alliance and the Council do nothing, and I always tell them to shove it.

She becomes a better person in the Paragon Romance. She becomes softer and more relaxed and she smiles more. That's the kind of relationship I would think that my Shepard wanted. You've never really lived until you've made someones life better in a capacity that they cannot ever truly repay you. Not to say that I think my Shepard owes her for Lazarus but you get what I'm saying.

That's a mutual thing between them I think.

But that doesn't mean they won't enjoy the physical aspects of one another either.

None of which makes her a better person, objectively, though perhaps easier for you or your Shep to relate to.

As a general rule, some fans tend to relate more to her badass, determined, ruthless side, and others to the softer side that comes out if you make certain choices (usually paragon).

Not to sound "Perverted" (And I am NOT intending to degrade Miri!!!!), but Miri forever has an Amazing Backside (That is NOT The ONLY Reason why I am a Mirimancer/Mirimaniac!!!!).

The scenery reminds me of Star Trek.
