Well. Let's ask for it then. If Bioware does a Miranda DLC, ask for kisses!

Everyone loves kisses!

Believe me, that thought has crossed my mind more than once.

Liara? If I remember right, three: once during lock-in (memory' a bit fuzzy), during the sex scene, and the goodbye. Garrus gets one. Kaidan gets two. Steve gets two.

^ That's what I'm hoping for on Tuesday. In some capacity.

Miss Strahovski is not as expensive as Martin Sheen. Don't kid yourselves. She was written OUT of the story so others could take her place.

Like Liara.

Oh God Why.

I wonder if BioWare ALSO thinks that we should be lucky that they didn't kill her off (Railroading)?

I can understand why Liara is "Touchy" for My FemShep (She is her Love Interest), but why is she still "Touchy" with Players who "Personally" do NOT have a Relationship with her? Were BioWare's intentions to have Liara "Personally" woo every player on the Planet?

Not Liara, the VS and Vega. Once the decided on a squad of six, there were never going to be more than two humans. Hence, Ash's redesign to fit Miranda's sex appeal role. Miranda was basically a Bond girl to the devs, and treated like one.

To be honest, given some of his remarks to Steve, I had interpreted that James was gay. Someone else in this thread did too, but I can't remember who it was. It's a non issue though, as I thought that Traynor and Cortez were the best LGBT characters I've ever seen in a video game.

He makes a hilarious comment about liking Grizzlies, and Steve laughs at him. Vega doesn't get it but those familiar with LGBT lingo do.

If the Liara people can have a LotSB, why can't the Miranda people have a similar one.

Both she AND Cerberus need it.

^ Well the Game only came out a little more than 3 months ago, and DLC was created for ME2 for more than a year, so it's FAR from over when it comes to DLC for ME3. Here's Hoping.

Because BW doesn't really do DLC that 100% of their potential install base can't play. Liara got one because there were no variables to consider. Add that she is dead in all non-imports and a good chunk of imports and Miranda DLC doesn't make financial sense. Her omission from the Cerberus arc is very bad writing, but that ship has sailed.

She still is an expendable character, so the chances are low.

I think we might see Miranda appear in a DLC. It wouldn't take the form of LotSB, though.

Anyway, I feel like we've done/are doing everything that we can do as fans. So... beyond that, why worry about it?

A fair point. But I blame the lead writer, not people like Patrick Weekes.

Weekes is well aware of the issue. Have you seen the photo he tweeted?

One can wonder why BioWare made EVERY other Character Expendable EXCEPT Liara.

I can see it now, in the meetings:

"Priority 1: Liara. She is to be unharmed. All other Characters Expendable...."

The sentimentality doesn't affect her personal decisions. The Miranda I saw got the job done regardless of what type of relationship she's in. Bollocks Ieldra.

But you don't do the Paragon choices though, so I'd assume you have no idea I'm talking about.

I have no idea what you're talking about either.

Don't get me started on Miranda at the Collector base. It doesn't matter anymore anyway, but things in ME3 have turned out exactly as I feared when I brought that point up two years ago, with Miranda being almost exclusively concerned with Oriana.

Yes, how many times do you need to mention that?

Besides he also said that only way to get more screentime with the ME2 guys is if we all band together and keep sending them projects (LI Book @ PAX and LIA project, etc)

That would be railroading. We're going to have to deal with it.

Remember, Liara is JUST as important. <_<

It will probably never happen, but I kinda wish they did some sort of 'Mass Effect Chronicles' game where you have vignettes based around other ME characters at other important bits in their history.

So you'd have a little arc of things like Jack as an outlaw, Thane and his revenge, Wrex as a mercenary, Garrus on Omega, Kasumi and daring thefts, etc.

Playing as the other characters would be neat. Especially Miranda.

Except that Bioware's DLCs have never been of a kind that depended on specific in-game decisions. Which means, should there be a Cerberus-related DLC, Miranda *may* feature in it but not as an irreplaceable character. She'll be a bonus, not a main character. Again.

If it does happen, it would likely be something like a Cerberus DLC wherein, say, Jack and Miranda make an appearance if alive, but the basic story functions well without them.

Conceptually, it's really interesting, and it would involve a couple of characters that people would obviously like to see more of. So, if Weekes, for example, were to say, *I really want to do this*, then they could be confident that the overall package would sell well. Partly because of his reputation (for writing award-winning DLC), partly because of the characters.

I think there's a chance something like that could happen, judging by the overall vibe on the forums/twitter/etc. So, we'll see.

Well I don't think they've ever nullified their entire series before either. Never say never and all that.

I don't know what Miranda's role in any DLC might be. What I do know is that it's limited only by what they want to give us, and not any technical game mechanics.
