And those parts have a proper arc to them.  Not so with Cerberus.  Perhaps they didn't want to do another of those things?  Not a good choice IMO, but it could also be a rushed thing.

Agreed. I think it's a legitimate criticism to say, basically: Cerberus should have a proper arc as well, and Miranda should have been a big part of that.

But, obviously, as you say, they either couldn't do it, or didn't want to devote that many resources to it.

I think it had to be a resource issue - probably disk space? Consoles are limiting in that regard, unfortunately. I just refuse to believe that they can deliver Tuchanka and Rannoch while thinking that the Cerberus content is appropriate and up to par. I may be a little jaded when it comes to BW right now, but I don't think they're THAT incompetent.

Mmm... someone new to blame the lack of content, XBOX360. Nah, let's just keep the blame on the writers. I don't want to start a console war here.

Well, we know disk space is the biggest limiting factor. And obviously the content after Rannoch was adversely affected. What would have changed? That's harder to say.

Considering how Miranda was written, I'm not sure I want to know. :?

I think a more coherent ending would have prevented a LOT of these issues we have now.

You don't need a lot of disc space for that. Discs aren't expensive. They could have just as easily split the game on to three discs for the 360.

PS3 discs are dual layer right? That's a 50GB disc.

yay, got a laptop I can use! hello everybody =)
so, back to the topic of a few pages ago...

I like the renegade kiss scene coz it's something i can relate to, heh.
Flirting doesn't mean something is less serious in my opinion, and it is nice to break the ice sometimes =p works just fine for my relationship ;)

Besides that, I usually go for paragon options when it comes to the romance.
But I totally agree when Babi says about the DA romance mechanics.

There is no on screen kisses.
And during the first meet, it's a kiss on the cheek not a real kiss (completely ridiculous considering it's been more than 6 months they haven't seen each other)

this, million times this!

and thanks for posting my drawing, Yann! ^_^ good old times, haha!

Having Miranda on the alliance normandy is like having Shepard on a cerberus vessel on ME2, kinda (i'm exaggerating, I know). Shepard doesnt agree with Cerberus' profile, yet he works with them (not counting renegade/paragon decisions, you do the things wheter you like it or not), and you even see a side of Cerberus that is worth saving (like all the ex alliance people that were so greatly disappointed and joined Cerberus for their right reasons). As for Miranda, it would be just the same, but instead of having a Cerberus crew being nice to Shepard, she'd win them all over by showing how competent she is and gets the job done. "You don't have to like me but it's inarguable that I do damn good", that sort of thing.

at the same time, they all gladly accept gabby and ken. Nothing makes sense anymore, gah!

And after the coup, if would be great to see her reaction ;]

Well, shuteye time. See ya folks!

There was that whole thing with TIM wanting to control the Reapers.

Dr. Cole refers to a device that Cerberus had been pouring all of its resources into on Gellix but what it was or what it was suposed to do was never brought up again. The mission to Grissom Academy has Cerberus capturing students who had been conducting research, but for what? Then there's the whole Citadel Coup, Leng might have been trying to kill the Council but we never find out why the mission was launched in the first place. Did TIM know that the Citadel was the Catylyst all along or was there another reason why he wanted to capture the station? Meanwhile, Henry Lawson's managed to create a signal that can control Reaper troops.

So we have a plan to control the Reapers, a mysterious device that Cerberus was working on, and a signal that could potentially be used to take control of them. We have all the parts of a Cerberus arc that could work pretty well but no one put them all together.

I'm just glad the only part of this fairly run-of-the-mill pulp sci-fi universe I really care about is Miranda.

The rest is just a spectator sport for me Posted Image

I'll give you all of mine if you do one where you replace Shepard with Kai Leng. In a ballerina suit. Holding a bowl of cereal.

I heard Mac Walters wrote Kai Leng.

Do you hate him more now?
