It was tought more in line with the idea of stealing fire from the gods.

I've always objected to the "miracle" more than the "pregnancy". I don't think they'll go there, but I'd want a good science fictional explanation. And Miranda's professional side not being shoved aside.jtav wrote...

Nope, the synthetics are goners. Pick your poisons, lads.
And I'd be, well, not okay, but not frothing at the mouth if the pregancy was paired with Shepard living. Because my first reaction to single parent Miranda post-ME3 is to feel sorry for the kid. But my nain objection to the pregnancy is that I don't trust the devs to balance her professional side.
But Matt wants kids. Nobody's more surprised than me.
No. I tested this with a game where I had taked EDI everywhere so she got priority and cheated my game up to 6000 EMS, reloading from a pre-choice renamed autosave. Synthesis: Joker, EDI and Javik. Control: Joker, EDI and Javik. Destroy: Joker, Javik and Garrus.Skullheart wrote...
btw, is it true that EDI can survive destroy with high EMS?

No. It would be taking what's rightfully ours, by virtue of being able to do it. It's what Miranda did with Lazarus, and I want her to continue doing it. She's also been vindicated by the story - without Lazarus, there would have been no Shepard and the cycle wouldn't have been broken.LanceSolous13 wrote...
Stealing fire from the gods would be a betrayal.

I'm hoping for some hint that Miranda goes on to found a reformed version of Cerberus. TIM's line on Cronos gave me a little hope that such a thing was possible:
"As always, you fail to grasp the obvious. Cerberus isn't just an organisation or the people behind it. Cerberus is an idea[/i]; that idea is not so easily destroyed."

I've always liked the symbolism of Prometheus, and I'd like to find it again in an organization lead by Miranda.

Shepard: Right, uh, apparently I learned the girl's part of this dance. Would you mind leading?
Miranda: Not at all.
Also, this may sound a bit controversial, but you'd think after the cycle is over, there shouldn't be a need for organisations like Cerberus or the STG. That's probably a bit too optimistic though.
Err.....this sentence makes no sense to me at all. I read the words, but they don't appear to connect to anything I said. Would you care to explain?LanceSolous13 wrote...
It would be a betrayal of Cerberus' Trust. Yes, it is rightfully ours, but it is a betrayal in a complementing light.Ieldra2 wrote...

For good? I don't think so. The politicking will start again as soon as the Reaper threat is over. There will be a higher motivation for co-operation for some time to come, but still everyone will try to gain an advantage. It's just human nature, and non-humans are like humans in that regard.hot_heart wrote...
Yeah, by optimism I meant that all the races would put their conflicts aside for good (possible in Synthesis, and maybe Control?). I think that's the 'good' interpretation of Watchmen speaking.
The STG and such were never for fighting Space-Cthulhus.

Miracle pregnancy might actually be worth it, especially as the synthesis epilogue, just to see Ieldra explode.
I mean, he might actually combust before our eyes.
