Slow Dancing with Miri....

Miri is more of a tango person.

Miranda: Shepard, I think your hand is supposed to be on my hip.
Shepard: Right, uh, apparently I learned the girl's part of this dance. Would you mind leading?
Miranda: Not at all.

Also, this may sound a bit controversial, but you'd think after the cycle is over, there shouldn't be a need for organisations like Cerberus or the STG. That's probably a bit too optimistic though.

Love the Chuck reference! <3

There will always be a need for humanity's STG: talented men and women who can break the rules for the benefit of all. There will be tension and rivalries as there has always been, and humanity has to maintain parity. Black ops are part of that, but you need to temper that freedom with responsibility, caution, and principle. Miranda is ideal as a leader.

If ME3 showed us one thing it's that in the game of galactic politics everybody cheats. The STG secretly uplifts races, the Turians planted that bomb on Tuchanka, and the Asari horde Prothean tech. Meanwhile, Cerberus is condemned for doing the same thing. Considering that the Alliance and most of the governing bodies of Earth have been destroyed in the war humanity is going to need people who have the ideas and the vision to help build a future for us.

This is really quite touching. Very nicely done to whomever it was who made it.

I see I'm not the only Chuck obsessive. Just got my Nerd Herd tee-shirt haha.  And Miri is definitely a tango girl.  Tango is awesome, btw. If you don't know it I suggest you learn.

I think Phoenix is decent as a name. I dislike Prometheus because it doesn't fit, unless they're adapting Reaper tech. None of the other races are worthy of filling in for "the gods" in the analogy. I don't mean this in a racist way, but they are not fundamentally stronger or more advanced. We're not stealing from the gods, we're stealing from everyone else.

Even though I understand the thinking in continuing with the mythology nomenclature, I'm starting to disagree with it more and more. We don't need a new Cerberus. We need a new organization to fill its place. I see no reason why we should establish continuity of its symbolism. That symbolism has been tainted and will draw more attention and scrutiny than we'd like. Better to name it something innocuous and inconspicuous (what would you think Special Task Group does, if you didn't know) and remain hidden, working in the background.

Many mistakes that led to Cerberus' downfall were not mistakes of operation or ethics. They were the mistakes of getting caught, of drawing attention.

So how do you guys deal with the infertiliy? Do you want it to be cured somehow in the future or do you want it to stay and consider the adoption scenario?

Or did you simply headcanon it doesn't exist?

If it was never discussed in the main game, then the infertility doesn't exist.

Simple: Shep loves Miri unconditionally. So her infertility isn't a problem. Although technically he isn't supposed to know about it considering he found out via the Shadow Broker :/

And not all couples have to have kids. I don't see my Shep ever having a family beyond Miri. They may not even get married, actually. I hadn't decided on that part yet.

Personal feelings? Let it stand and have her create her own. And put that kid a very long time in the future. Decades. Heck, a century is viable if they can preserve the egg. Just no "settling down." Though Miranda is not the first person I'd pick to raise a child alone with the galaxy in the state it's in.

I don't get why this constant need society has of having a kid on every relationship, honestly.

Agreed, perhaps even more so know that he knows (at least for me that's how I would see it)

Either she cures it with the ease of wiping her mouth or the devs have just forgotten it out of existence.

Either way it's a non-issue, barely worth mentioning.

I'm not sure if Miranda is set on having a child (anymore). She seems resigned to the fact, and puts all her energy into giving Oriana a shot at a normal life instead. Of course, it really depends on the circumstances surrounding her ultimate fate.

There's no real basis for it, but it does feel a little like the lines were blurred between Miranda and Sarah Walker, since the 'normal life' and 'settling down' stuff was a running theme throughout Chuck rather than Mass Effect.
