Uh...yeah...well, her Cerberus pin is gone though!

Perhaps they wanted to keep the characters iconic...though they did change Jack.
Thing is she is dead on non imports while Miranda isn't...

I don't know...that just felt like a strange decision to me, though there's always the possibility it was due to time constraints

Time constraints. I also get the impression Jack was thisclose to making the squad.

The marketing around Jack was certainly the biggest of the ME2 squads. Which I don't get at all, she wasn't nearly as popular as Miranda, another proof of BioWare's disrespect to Miranda's fans.

Simple: Shep loves Miri unconditionally. So her infertility isn't a problem. Although technically he isn't supposed to know about it considering he found out via the Shadow Broker :/

And not all couples have to have kids. I don't see my Shep ever having a family beyond Miri. They may not even get married, actually. I hadn't decided on that part yet.

I don't get why this constant need society has of having a kid on every relationship, honestly.

this. sadly it seems a constant of the romance threads. by now we should have transcended such quaint associations.

Thankfully it is unlikely the EC will change the endings enough to make that a horrible possibility.

It might have something to do with Anderson's very well written cut dialogue from the ending saying Shep could be a great father/mother.

I could see that dialogue, if it's put in, effecting the epilogue slides. If you agree, Shep and their LI become parents in the epilogue. If you don't, then they don't.

Miranda, popular?

I thought goodpart of the ME fanbase hated her, calle her usurper, heartless and racist b**ch, etc. When ME2 came out.

Could also be developer uh, well favoratism? I remember back when previews of ME3 were coming out, with regards to squadmates changing in looks, Jack was among the people they kept mentioning. From the Derek Watts.
I remember you thought at one point that she would was going to be a squadmate jtav :P (which you just mentioned there)

I mean I like Jack a lot, but I think every (ME2) character should have gotten a change in outfit/look like she did.

Given some polls I've seen, her thread I got the idea she her popularity was only behind the dextro team. But she is a polarizing character, people who aren't her fans tend not to like her, especially the Talimancers

Every hate filled post is a testament to how well she was written in ME2. I wish she could elicit the same kind of strong emotions this time around.

After picking up a copy of the Art Book, it might be so. They said when designing her new look, They had no idea what part she'd play in the new game.

Agreed. She's a better antagonist in 2 than, for example, Leng is in 3. In addition to everything else, I mean.

Also, I think that, if she wanted to mark your apartment as her own, she would not do so by eating your cereal Posted Image

Totally agreed. The only one who's looked they should have kept the same was Legion because he's a Geth. The rest should have gotten different outfits like Garrus, Jack, and Tali.

Maybe Samara should keep what she had, I mean she is a Justicar after all
But yeah Legion was ok.

Anything's possible, but I don't really see where she fits. Nowhere on this 6-person squad anyway.

It could also be that she's a character that some devs really like, but they were disappointed by fan reaction after ME2. So they decided to give her a bit of extra love this time. We always talk about what fans want, but dev interest also plays a large role in how things turn out.

Captain's Cabin

Shepard: Miranda, have you seen my N7 jacket?

Miranda: The black and red leather one?

Shepard: That's the one.

Miranda: (walks into the bedroom wearing Shepard's jacket) Haven't seen it.

Hmm. I've always found the whole "wearing the boyfriend's jacket or shirt (possibly after snu-snu)" look pretty damn appealing. Artist-types, might you be interested in indulging us with a visual?

I agree that some think she has some controversial opinions and behavior. But she can't be considered as an antagonist (even if you play an anti-cerberus Shepard).

She doesn't have so many haters, they are just making a lot of noises. And most of the time, their arguments are so stupid, immature or completely wrong that you can't take them seriously.

I was there 2 years ago, when there was a new Anti Miranda thread every day. It was always the same morons posting the same crap again and again.

Does anyone even know if Miss Strahovski came back to the studio to do more voice acting for the EC? I know some people were confirmed to be coming back, but it would be really nice to know if she was coming back. I actually want closure with Miranda than the chat between her and Shepard on Earth using the terminal. Just didn't seem right.

Also sorry if that question was asked/answered earlier!

She didn't say anything about recording.

I doubt bw planned some lines for Miranda anyway.
