Follow in his footsteps? So uplift lesser creatures? The STG's on top of that. Then again, I wouldn't consider the yahg lesser creatures on any scale.
I do know what you're getting at, it just seems like the parts that don't fit are important elements and I am reluctant to overlook them.

To clarify my position about the relays: I think there should be one ending where they're gone, and one ending
where they aren't. I've said more about that in the Control support thread.

There is no reason good enough to warrant the relays' destruction. The only ending where that would be a necessary consequence that I'd except would be a last ditch effort we we destroy them ourselves in an attempt to "Arrival" the **** out of the Reapers. Sacrifice an entire system via relay-supernova to kill Reapers. But that's outside the bounds of artistic integrity it seems.

I'm curious to know if the other LIs get a better treatment than Miranda though, just not in what way.

Yeah, it adds a bit of cuts end time. All the ME1 LI's ( and Tali and Garrus) got special treatment over Jack and Miranda (shocker).

what ending did you go by? Does anything different happen for those seconds of shepard moving his shoulder at Destroy?

There are extra minutes. I don't know how much, but it's not a lot.

The LI on the Normandy will say to Joker to leave (in my playtrhough is ta Garrus because I romanced Miranda and Garrus is probably the one with the highest relationship on board). The Normady "crushes" on a garden planet, but they manage to repair it. Before they leave the planet, the LI will put Shepard's tag in the memorial wall in the SR-2. If you choose Destroy with over 3100 EMS, they'll not put the tag on the wall. If your LI isn't on the Normandy, another squadmate will do one of the two actions (in my case was Garrus).

I picked Destroy. The only major changes are epilogue slides showing the ME2 characters, and Wrex.

Considering how the special treatment works, I'd say it was inevitable. It's not right, and they could've done something different for Miranda and Jack, but I wasn't expecting much for Miranda in the EC.

There are extra minutes. I don't know how much, but it's not a lot.

Thanks, o Ventus! I did forget to add 10 before "extra minutes" on my post, but from what I can tell so far the EC doesn't add more than 2 minutes of cinematic. So, BioWare keeps lying to us, first saying that we would get 10 minutes of extra content, then saying that to experience the whole thing we should start from Cronos Station - implying that the EC would start from there - and the last I can tell, it was to come out at 2 am on Origin and nothing so far. Or am I wrong?

I've seen Miranda's slide.
Not bad. It's very...scientific in nature and it shows a synthesis between Miranda's family (Oriana) and her work.
It is a pity that ME1 romances got favored. AGAIN! I don't believe there is an acknowledgement of the romance beyond the flashback.
I've only seen the Control one but I seriously doubt they would have bothered making more than one.

BTW, love what they did with Shepard in Control. Infinite, Eternal, Immortal.

edit: Hmm, now that I think about it, Miranda is clearly studying the Reapers in her slide. One could headcannon that she is looking for a way to separate Shepard from them.

If this is from a post of a Bioware dev, I'll don't think it'll apply to all the LI. There was already a situation described in his post that treat differently the Normandy LI and the other LI.

Miranda, looking a little bit green, oversees rebuilt efforts alongside several Alliance officers who appear to be paying close attention to her words.
Again, not bad at all. They seem to have captured the spirit of what we wanted for Miranda's future. They could have just shown Oriana holding a baby and Miranda with her hand on her sister's shoulder.
