Her smile reminds of the one she gives you when you first wake up from being dead. Or maybe Im remembering it wrong. I haven't played ME2 in a while.ripslip wrote...

And destroy maybe for a similar reason, in that it's like starting over from scratch. But free of the cycle.
That could be partly what the destroy slide is showing.
For purposes of illustration:

I assumed that the slide implied that she was hopeful of Shepards survival
Probably that also. Or maybe primarily. But... it fits the idea of "a new dawn" or a new day as well. Anyway, it is hopeful, certainly, for the future.

Same, the Professional Miranda seems to be there and she's doing something important. It's just sad "I love you" was never exchanged between Shep and Miranda.Jackster94 wrote...
So what's the general feeling ? I felt she got a good ending in all of them creating plenty of discussion and emotion

Probably too soon to tell overall. I'm pleased with what's there, and I wasn't really expecting the EC to do a lot with Miranda specifically, as that is not its purpose.

Admittedly, it's hard to tell if that's really what's happening.

Yes, FINALLY! Miranda is in my Shepard thoughts as he shoots the beam. A beautiful picture of Miranda. I'll have to take a screen shot of that. Missed it the first time. Really liked the other picture of Miranda too. "Find Shepard" Miranda! The whole scene with the space brat was a lot better, good job explaining that part mass effect team. I can't believe I'm saying this but I enjoyed the ending. I cried but now there is hope where none was before. Mission accomplished.
I agree just about completely.
I was stoked that they finished the flashback. Good thing Shepard finally thinks about Miranda. Beautiful gif as well.
I chose destroy, and the picture of Miranda looking into the stars is great. It's like she's hoping Shepard is still alive and out there somewhere, and she plans on finding him.
Overall, I think the EC did a pretty good job of explaining what happened and providing decent closure.
I just wish they made it more obvious whether Shepard survived or not. Sure you see him breathe, but it's hard to tell if he's waking up, or if it's his final breath.
I wanted a reuinion pretty badly, but at least we can headcanon it. I guess Shepard's survival is up to head canons as well, based on how they want to interpret his breath.

I like the idea that Miranda and Orianna are plotting to overthrow the Reapers in control

I get the impression they're looking for a way to bring Shepard back into organic form, actually.

Yeah, maybe. Though Jackster's idea (which is the one I just mentioned) is also intriguing

She wouldn't do that. You're saying she would try and overthrow the Reapers even though peace is assured now and risk another galactic conflict?

It depends on how one interprets control. Dictatorships can be peaceful enough, but there is no freedom, or little freedom.
Control feels a bit like that, for organics. So... yes, or at least... maybe.

To be honest I believe anyone think anything positive with Miranda and Shepard in her control slide is clutching at straws
Yeah, not that it's my concern though.

The breath scene is there for players to make their own assumptions of what happens to her/him. Shepard is the player's Character so it is only fitting that we decide if Shepards story comes to an end. Does Miranda find Shepard or was that his/her's last breath ? It is ultimately up to you. That end scene is something bioware should be commended on

It's never implied that she thinks you're dead. Shepard's plaque never gets put up on the wall in Destroy. You can interpret that any way you want to.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...
No matter what, we leave a sad Miri behind. We break our Promises Regardless. Even in Destroy, she thinks we're dead. :crying:I mean, look at her. It appears as if she's looking up at the Sky, waiting for us, or mourning for us. What if she ends up living a Life where she believes we will come back, and what if it grows unhealthy to the point where people start to think she's crazy?I don't want Control. In Synthesis, she looks like she never had a Love, like the Romsnce never Existed. Why couldn't the scene when our names were placed on the Memorial made to Vary depending on ANY Love Interest?
Same goes for reunions etc. This is the good kind of speculation. The future is what you want it to be.
