Not after a war that would threaten the Galaxy. At a War like that, people would have learned from their past mistakes. And no reason to wink.

The wink is there to suggest an ironic tone Posted Image

Anyway, if you wish to imagine a utopian future in destroy, there is nothing stopping you, of course.

Miranda is... not sure it would really work like that.

People are people. They'll fight over some thing or other. Stopping the Reapers won't change that.

Nah, people would still find reason to wink.

No, it's much more convenient to just blink. Nobody winks in the future, except for Miranda, but that's just her way of letting you know she wants to sleep with you.

Yeah, in my case the required mindset involves Miranda dying. Have you seen the scenario I was thinking of? I still need opinions on how Miranda would react. Too lazy to retype so: link.

Control can lead to War, again. Synthesis can possibly lead to War for Ascension/Immortality. At least with Destroy, No one would be stupid enough to start a War after all that's happened.

lol.

Shall I show you exactly how much strife is possible after the Reapers are gone? Before I stopped caring that was what I was imagining.

Well... human history suggests that there would likely be wars again.

People can be pretty stupid Posted Image

(And presumably humanoid aliens as well.)

I had this idea too. But for me Miri is alive and helping to rebuild. Five years down the line (the galaxy is repaird and the reapers are in dark space) a reaper lands and "drops off" a Shepard body that has been built. We know already that the Reapers can create organic/synthetic creations since that is how the reproduce. But it drops him off with his new personality. He still remembers Miri (duh), and the two are renunited... if only sort of. Since Shep's personality is very different now.

mmm... I think that Synthesis is the only ending that wouldn't lead to a war. Quoting Einstein, "Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding," that's what synthesis give us.

Control feels like a new galactic empire (if we played as renegade), there will be war, and it will be hard to forgive the Reapers after all the grieve they caused, and we don't know if we can understand their previous goals or they new directions.

In Destroy humanity seems like the most favored race, having the Citadel on Earth's orbit. There will be fights for the Citadel. humanity needs to be strong to stay in power.

Hmm. Not sure. jtav has outlined a scenario where Miranda keeps working for humanity as a human but joins Shepard when her life is nearing its end. I like that version.

I don't know if in Synthesis war will not happen. Unless synthesis changes the nature of organics (and humans in particular).
While I agre that in the Renegade Control war could happen, I don't know if the Reapers will not be forgiven easily. People don't seem to have problem with the Reapers repairing relays, or even rebuilding cities.
War could happen in Paragon Control, but if it'll be against the Reapers, the organics will probably do the first move.
Agreed on destroy, war could definitely happen.

I don't think she'd merge immediately either. But I'm just wondering what she'd make of the circumstances and what happened. Also if she would choose to go back alone or if she'd accept the Shepard replica.

My problem with control: what the Reaoers should do with Shep in command is rebuild, transfer knowledge of previous cycles, retreat, self-destruct.

Unless, of course, the Mass Effect universe now expands to become intergalactic instead of confined to the Milky Way.  And we now join a pre-existing Intergalactic Council who are all different species while the Reapers become our navy/military.

I'm a fan of the non-romance destroy slide also. Speaking purely of the image alone, i think it might even be my favorite.

I think it's incorrect to speak of it as a Destroy slide. Never seen it in game or know anyone who has. I think it's just a base image they left in. Hence the name.

But yes, a lot of promise in that still.

"What is this? A city for ants?!"
"What?"
"How can you expect people to live here if they can't even fit inside the buildings?!"
"Miranda, it's just a holo-"
"I don't want to hear your excuses! The city has to be at least...three times bigger than this! I don't have patience for incompetence."

That was another slide, actually, according to Vertigo:

Some people have said they don't get a slide at all for Miranda or jack if not romanced in destroy. I thought somebody said they got the one I just posted. But... I'm not sure.

**** the alliance. As for the Synthesis... It's garbage. How can Synthetics understand organics? Organics don't even understand organics. And honestly, both Synthesis and Control just feel like too much damn Space Magic. BTW, any thoughts on the supposed Leviathan DLC? From the unofficial synopsis, it pushes what I can believe.
