And smiling. Not with her usual irony but unrestrained happiness. I'm also envisioning her cradling him the way he cradles her in the death scene.

I invision her as finding him in the wreckage, so yes, he is rather broken and bloodied so she "takes care of him the way he took care of her" if that isn't too cliche. And tears would most certainly be involved as they often are in the most touching of moments.

Anyone know how to unpack the DLC from it's .sfar format?

I'd prefer to imagine my own reunion, put in all the details I want.

I think the reunion is something that can just be imagined. Not that I would have opposed such a thing, but I like that the epilogues now give a glimpse of the future without trying to define it too much.

It's what epilogues should do, roughly, I think.

A reunion scene would have been very touching to see but imagining it is nice too.
The epilogue slides give you tools and hints to imagine your reunion and the future of every character. It's good in my book.

Edit: @flemm: thanks, Miranda's flashback scene is priceless :)

I'll never tire of seeing that flashback gif.

Also, not to knock people who like to write/read reunion fanfics, but it does suggest a lot of people really do need to witness it happening rather than allow their imagination to. Other times, there are some good writers out there, with neat ideas, I guess.

I'm definitely not disputing that, but I am imagining a little something extra, and it's something that could apply to any LI (or friendship, if your Shepard stayed single).

It's not so much that I think.  I can imagine reunions without any difficulty at all, but it's a whole new level of cool to take that imagination and make it something visible.

I think for me, a simple image of Miranda finding Shep, or a moment that shows the two would have been fine and leave the rest for head cannon. Head cannons are kinda like opinions compared to "cannons" (official) Having said that I can always head cannon the reunion, Shep and Miranda sitting in the Citadel hospital over looking a rebuilding citadel with Earth in the background, but I guess I would like just a simple image.

I wonder what moment Shep remembers that .gif from

Yeah, it wasn't meant as an attack on anyone, and I'm probably talking more about readers than writers. More of an observation when you look at this outcry for reunion DLC and people going mad over reunion stories. It's like, use your imagination, guys. Come on!

I would love to see a reunion slide in the end :P  it still bothers me though that they didn't get a kiss, death kiss doesn't count, or I love you...imagining is fine, but not enough

So I just tried out the EC with my Ashleymancer (since I could actually have her in my squad on the push to the beam). Went with Destroy and my flashback had Anderson, EDI and Ash. When Joker left, Liara and Sam were in the cockpit with him and it was Liara who told him to go (expected Ash to be the one to do it). No Miranda epilogue slide and the one with Jacob didn't have Brynn. Of course, Shep survived.

I'd like to see one of our resident artists draw a picture of these "head cannons." How are they attached to the skull? Do they rotate? And are they laser-targetted?

I'm just being a douche, sorry Posted Image

From now on "I'm going to head cannon something" can mean "I'm going to destroy it with my head cannons." Posted Image

Miranda grew out of a lab right? From her fathers tissues? so she's a man? I'm confused.
