If someone where to call Mri a man, then shooting Wilson in the head would look like mercy compared to what she would to that insulting person.

We all know that our Miri is a Woman, from Head to Toe.

I wonder if breakfast cereal tastes the same in destroy, control and synthesis, or is it changed in some fundamental way?

Can sentient beings continue to have access to Lucky Charms only by rejecting the guardian's logic?

I know that in Control, MachineGodShepard keeps all the Cinnamon Toast Crunch for himself.

And Miranda is none too pleased...

Can the writer get the opinion of the group? Would Miranda borrowing from a romantically involved Shepard's DNA to create a child decades after Synthesis or Control seem creepy to you?

How is it any more/less creepy than Liara allegedly doing the same thing in that scene before the beam rush?

Yes, but I wouldn't let that stop you. The Shadow Broker files suggest the scenario may have a similar precedent...

Yeah, personally, I think it's creepy. Decades is a long time, so that makes it creepy even if the two of them had talked about kids before. Dead Shepard plus decades in the future makes it creepy for Synthesis with me. With Control though, Shep is still sort of "alive" and if the two of them are able to communicate, then I see it as less of a problem because she could ask him about it.

If you want to write it though, then write it. It's your story :wizard:

I like this idea, and I don't see any problem with this. I think it completely in-character.

The decades is partly because I need the galaxy in a post-recovery state and partly to give her time to accept creating as she was created. Using his DNA is a sort of "this is what you wanted, love. Here." Control. No contact. Until now.

Hey, hey! Answer my scenario and I'll answer yours.

...or I'll just answer yours.... with a  question...

Where's this DNA coming from decades after the endings?

A question because I'm wirting an ending reunion fic (Mass Effect: Aftermath) and I, of course, have Miri as the LI for the plot.

Trying to start this writing process off and calculating how it all fits together but the Catalyst was vague at what constitutes as Snythetic. He said Shepard was part Synthetic (I assume his implants) so what does this mean for the rest of the Galexy? Espicially if Shepard lives? And, for the life of me, Can't find anything from ME2 or 3 about what his Implants were for. Were they vital for his survival and thus putting him in a really bad condition if fried? Or are they just simply to make him stronger for battle and nothing more? Ugh. I suppose I have more to work from with the EC but not enough.

Not really, it's considerably less creepy than Liara's whole "I couldn't let you go" line in ME2, and her wanting to give Shepard a copy of her memories in ME3 even if you didn't romance her.The only thing is if she has Shepard's DNA why not just restore him?

Come to think of it,  what if Reaper-Shepard created a replica of  himself to replace the Shepard who was lost on the Citadel? The Intelligence has a complete backup of Shepard's thoughs and memories so it might remember the promise he made back on Earth.

That's (part of) what I've been asking!

Though my thoughts on the Shepard replica are that it would be incomplete and imperfect due in part to the original template being lost (after human Shepard got disintegrated but before Commander was created). So it would remember all that human Shepard felt. But it wouldn't be there 100%. And it would disconnect eventually.

Yeah, wet eyes would be great, not full of tears.

Agreed. If anything, she'd cry tears of relief and happniess. Meanwhile, Shepard would be trying to tell a joke or two to lighten the mood.

Depends on the Shepard I'd say.  At that point, my Shepard would be so exhausted and relieved that he would probably cry a bit too.

Maybe a bit of both. Even Paragon Shepard is good humored. He says "Best seats in the house" as a ioke while he and Anderson are on the brink of death.
I'm sure he'd mumble something like "I told you I'd find you" and start crying a little.

Sorry, about that.

Reaper tech is probably advanced enough to create another Shepard without issue, but I'd imagine that he'd sort of be like Starkiller in The Force Unleashed 2 where he has all of the memories of the original but doesn't know what they mean or what to do with them.

The question I have is would Shepard reveal that he's the new guiding intelligence of the Reapers or would he maintain the "implied but unseen" doctrine of the old Catylyst? Creating a Shepard replica that can't remember what happened on the Citadel would make a good cover story.

Yeah the memories would be the same, but the "soul" would be different. No guarantee it would love her.

As for the DNA source, Alliance databanks or similar. She could clone him, but it wouldn't be him.
