Miranda calls him an icon which he was. That doesn't mean it is an opinion she shares or tell us what she tought of him as a person.

She also says he had done everything right but we already know she respected what he had accomplished for the human race.

Agreed. But I think, given what you state above, Miranda's attitude on Lazarus station is due partly to the immense effort necessary to bring Shepard back, and her scepticism about that in particular (she says as much).

I think Miranda would be more bothered by EDI's body itself than by EDI attempting to emulate her. EDI's just using what's there. But TIM designed that body based of his old girlfriend and with Miranda's measurements. I'd say that's pretty creepy.

pretty much damn creepy haha

Miranda: Maybe it was a bad idea to ask the Illusive Man if he was going to replace me.

Shepard: Yeah, he went and made an android version of you.

Miranda: Gynoid.

Shepard: What?

Miranda: A female android is called a gynoid.

Shepard: Wouldn't an android version of you be a Mirandroid then? (notices Miranda staring at him) What?

Speaking of Lazarus Station and Shepard, does anyone else enjoy starting a Miranda romance playthrough with Shepard asking her "Are you naturally this ****y or is it just me?"

That's how it started first play-through of ME2 for me, and it's stayed that way for subsequent runs too :D

Dammit! Now I'm mad. If only Miri was in our Squad in ME3. So far, from what I've scene on YouTube with the Exteneded Cut, the Player helps there LI up to the Normandy when running to the Beam. You see a touching Moment. Why can't we get something like this. Why are we forever ****ed? We end up having no ****ing choice but to live with the Fact that Miri will never be in our Squad anymore. BioWare had the time and money. Why couldn't they at least SQUEEZE Miri in the Squad near the End???!!!! This is unbelievable. We're stuck with what we have. Dammit BioWare. I don't care if the LIs in ME1 are the "True" LIs. Miranda is MY LI, and that's the way it's going to stay. Why do you constantly try to lure people into having an ME1 LI all the time?

My Shepard always starts with that phrase. And with the "You still don't get it. I'm in command of this operation, not you" line on the Normandy.

@101
you can blame walters, hudson, watamaniuk, ea, bioware and a lot of more people for that.

I dont know, but I really want an answer from a dev as to why we couldn't have a touching moment with the ME2 LIs. Considering Jack and Miranda were the only ones left.

We NEVER get a damn ANSWER! You know how long I've been waiting for an anwser. They NEVER say anything! :crying:

I can't hold this anymore. It's just not fair what they did to Miri in ME3, and it's not fair that we're stuck with it, forever.

If only they could have just allowed Miranda in our Squad again. I would have loved to say Goodbye "Properly during the run towards the Beam in the Extended Cut, carrying Miri to the Normandy, and telling her "No Matter what happens, I'll always love you." WTF BioWare. Is that too much to ask? Too much to do????

It's not ****ing fair to us Mirimancers and it's not fair to the Jackmancers. Just like every major company. They talke something away. They give you Character you end up Loving, then they Justify in telling us in their own "Friendly" manner that we so called "Made a Mistake." What Mistake??? I see no damn Mistake.

I love starting off the relationship with them antagonising each other. I like to see it as a sort of competition between the two, and later sexual tension (They both find the other physically very attractive). When Miranda's LM is completed, real feelings start to develop between Shepard and Miranda.

Well, what are they supposed to say?

Companies won't ever admit mistakes, but the fact is that the new writing team (not that I want to point on the lack of a certain brilliant writer...) miscalculated the importance of her character. They missed the point and implemented her as a damsel with family issues.

It's so bad that even non-fans wonder about her small role.

I've done it before too. However, when it comes to my Mirandamancer Thomas, I have a headcanon where they've known each other for almost 20 years by that point (though they hadn't spoken in 18). He's Earthborn and she was the one who got him out of the Reds. I just canon that her being distant at first is due to her not knowing if the Lazarus Project was a complete success and him being the same person she used to know. It's not until Horizon that she knows that the Lazarus Project worked and truly opens up to him again.

I toyed with a head-cannoned version of this too. Miri and Shep both started out in the SAIA (Systems Alliance Informations Agency, aka the CIA) and fell in love when Shep saved her from a group of radical batarians. His name was not Shepard at the time of course, but they fell in love and about year after, she disappeared. She then reappeared about a year later with a new lover (also in the SAIA) and Shep had to work with both of them, giving rise to some very interesting tensions and emotions.  Needless to say, he wins her over again, and they spend the next 4 years working together.  She then is assigned to go undercover into Cerberus, and he goes undercover about a year after to become Humanity's first SPECTRE. When the Alliance declares him dead, Miri cuts ties to them and dedicates herself to bringing him back.

Yes, yes, I just wrote Chuck in Mass Effect universe, but get over it. It's a nice idea. :)

I wonder what EDI would make of this though. She's probably never thought about it. But if it was brought to her attention?

Miri a Terminator?

How would a LOTSB DLC for Miri work out? Before, or After Sanctuary? Miri's Priority is to make find and save Oriana. She is also on the run from Cerberus. Maybe a Mission before Sanctuary? One that replaces the Love scene in the Apartment, that instead of the Romance Scene Happening, Miri adds the she may have found a lead, and that she would need our help. Then after that Mission, she comes on the Normandy to relax after going through stress, in a nice dress. Then this would result in her talking about the Control Chip and some new topics, and if Romanced, a Romance scene will happen in the end, a big one, like Liara's and Ashley's. Is that too much to ask?
