Does this dialogue seem Catalyst-y enough to you?

The man who came before me was many things. He was an artist who sought to chronicle the galaxy through paint and pencil. He was a deadly soldier with command over matter itself. He was a lover who longed for nothing more than to spend the rest of his days with the woman he saw as perfection. He was a diplomat who sought to heal the wounds of the past and set free all life.

Then he saw how organics squandered that freedom. He saw salarians who were so ruled by fear that they would rather hide than cooperate with their old enemy against a greater threat. He saw quarians consumed by a thirst for vengeance that lead to their destruction. He saw the asari hoard knowledge that could have saved billions of lives. And he became enraged. Through that rage I was created. I do what he could not. I compel the many to make peace. I save them from their mistakes. I heal the wounds they inflicted.

I watch his beloved. His memories echo within me. I do not love her, but I remember the feel of her hand in his, her slight smile. His last thoughts were of protecting her. And so I do. I watch as she rebuilds something new from the ashes of the organization she served. I let her bring light to dark places and see her love her sister. There is purpose in my observation. He loved her for her brilliance, but if that brilliance burns too brightly, she could unleash chaos in the galaxy. My Reapers serve organics, but organics must never be allowed to surpass them for the good of the many. I watch so that she does not make a mockery of his sacrifice.

The message appears without warning, tucked away in the society column of a human newspaper. Miranda Lawson has given birth to a son. Though "birth" is perhaps the wrong word. The child was created as she was. But this time, there is only one other source of DNA: the man I used to be. Echoes of love and grief he flitter across my mind. This was another dream he sacrificed in my creation, the family he lost in adolescence that he hoped to create with her. The regret fills and consumes me, stronger than it ever has. And perhaps I am curious to see this child of his. We are both his progeny in our own way. I am infinite; the child is bound by time. I remember, but he can love.

It is decided. The species we harvested had within them the knowledge to create shells of flesh and blood. A piece of my mind will assume his mortal form for a time. I will see this child of his, this brother of mine. I will come face-to-face with his beloved.

And through it all, I will watch.

BioWare is never going to give us what we want. It is always given to Team Dextro, Liara, Ashley, and Kaidan.:crying:

Yes it is. Because we may end up being stuck with what we have while all those ME1 LI Lovers get everything they wished for in ME3 forever.:crying:

And? This sort of thing happens. We fix it as best we can and advocate as best and politely as we can for BW to give us what we want. And we move on.

Miranda is his girlfriend.  This is hard on him.

It seems that BW really don't like the LI (Garrus and Tali dont count casuse they're from ME1) or they penalize you for choicing another LI other than ME1, interesting wrinkle: I chose Ashley as my sheps LI however she Died on Virmire so that left my shep free and clear to explore other LI so I will say ME3 and the EC are a big letdown....LI's should always (minus thane cause you knew that was comming) playable at somepoint at least for the finally 1 or 2 missions (this is speaking directly for ME2 LI i.e. Miranda) ....

I only have one LI. I only want one LI. Her name is Miranda Lawson. NOT Liara, NOT Ashley, and NOT Tali. MIRANDA LAWSON. Why the hell should ME2 Romancers be left to rot in the dust in the LAST Game?
Is this punishment for preferring an ME2 Character over an ME1 Character for Romance? Why should we players and the Characters be treated in such a way because we decided not to get some Blue Tail?

It's been a year since this Thread was Create. Doesn't BioWare notice all this Support?

Not really on Thane. Yes, it was a huge posibility, but his Character Development is forgotten by ME3, his death is practically a Big Lipped Aligator Moment because the instant you get back to the Normandy, Garrus will state he was afraid they'd have to add another name to the wall, even though Thane, someone he went on a Suicide Mission with, died. There's no difference in dialogue between a Friend!Shep and a Romance!Shep. Lastly, All the ideas on how he could survive that were mentioned in ME2 are never mentioned again in ME3.

Yes, they almost certainly do. So what you can do is continue to support.

But get a grip, man.

Come on, people. More have to Vote on this. Liara is winning, which makes it seem like the Poll is unfairly rigged. Honestly, Liara has ENOUGH Content already. Give Miri a Chance!

I'd say they noticed. Notice the difference in tone of almost everything that doesn't require Miranda to talk. They're giving us what we ask for, albeit on the cheap.

Romance-related content is good, but I don't really have a problem with what Miranda has right now. What I would like to see is content that focuses on Miranda and her relationship with Cerberus. It's completely non-existant in ME3 and even people who don't even like Miranda have asked why she has nothing to say about the organization.

You have no idea how much hatred and sadness grew out of me when seeing all those Romantic Moments with Liara and Ashley while running to the Beam, and realizing that we can never have that with Miri.:crying:

This has not been a good day.

They don't have to do anything, really. That's not how it works. We can support some additions to the game, but there is no guarantee.

That's how it is, and you have to deal with that.

Sorry for randomly breaking into this thread. Just wanted to say that I like this, and I think it sounds "catalyst-y" enough.

Always enjoy reading fics that deals with the control ending and the new catalyst.

I'm not satisfied with Miranda's content in ME3 (including the romance), and I will continue to voice my opinion.
The EC improved the ending, but the ending has never been my main concern. It changed nothing about her poor role and the lack of content.
