No.

Hatred and vitriol for everybody!

Note that we aren't arguing *for* a replacement. Perhaps that gets lost in the debate. Obviously a replacement is very, very undesirable. But no more Miranda content is more undesirable.

Yeah the same way you were not arguing for a non-squadmate Miranda in ME3. We have seen the result.

I think people should remain silent rather than giving Bioware some stupid ideas.

I wouldn't necessarily say that staying silent is the best plan of action either.

Excuse me? Her voice is what conveys her personality.

No but I don't think it's difficult to express what we want without mentioning what we could accept to not have (especially if this thing is important for another fans).

Yes, I am quite certain it was the couple of forumites that argued Miranda didn't need to be a squadmate that deserve the blame for what we received in ME3.
Furthermore, it appears the devs read only those parts and utterly ignored the reasons we said she didn't need to be a squadmate.

It's not like Bioware has ignored us when we said we didn't want Miranda focused on Oriana in ME3 until now when they rush to include emails and slides that are more in accordance with what we wanted. Nope, not at all.

I blame who I think is to blame, without any proof. I do the same thing you did.
And I will stop when you'll stop this nonsense about Miranda's VA.

Please, don't ever work in the VG business.

Or as a performing artist, for that matter.

Or now that I think about it, psychologist.

Pretty much anything that requires interaction with other people.

This feel...I love it.
Haven't seen a thread yet where this guy doesnt stir the kool-aid, and I'm fairly new to the boards....

Alright everyone, enough is enough! I agree Miranda's character got axed by the devs. A DLC featuring a Cerberus arc with her in it would greatly supplement her story in ME3. That said, there was quality in some of her scenes. She wasn't necessarily OOC, but we didn't see anything outside of her devotion to Oriana. The entire second conversation at the Spectre Terminal absolutely made no sense to me, or more appropriately, what she has to say has utterly no value. It only serves as a point to warn her about Kai Leng. The rest of the stuff is... up and down. Shepard says things that make me wonder what the hell he's thinking, or if he even cares about Miranda at all sometimes. And there is utterly no payoff to the romance at all until the EC slides. As for DLC, they can make it without Yvonne returning to play Miranda, but I won't buy it, nor will I consider any of it canon.

She's beyond gorgeous, but I also think she would be really cool/funny (watch the Chuck gag reels with here, they're almost alway hilarious) and in that regard probably easy to talk to, but I would still probably find myself speechless, that goes towards all of the chuck cast in general too. I just wouldn't know what to say haha

With my luck i'd accedently call her Miranda. LOL

I'd probably ask for her autograph and just leave it at that. TBH

Jeez, still on about the VA change? It was literally the same thing 24 hours ago...

It seems ideas really are the most infectious parasites...

Thanks for doing such a great job as Miranda's VA Posted Image

From what I have been able to glean, some of this stuff goes back a long way, and is more about personal enmity between certain posters at this point than anything else. It can be dormant for a while, but it is always there.

A young, attractive, semi-famous actress walked into my shop one day when I was there alone.

Completely took me by surprise because I thought she lived at the other end of the country, and wondered why the hell she was in a flooring retailer to boot. I was perfectly friendly and all, but I didn't actually know her name. And I remained a bit coy about recognising her so as not to look like some gushing fool or embarrass her/myself.

With Yvonne I would probably be as speechless as you guys. Especially if she's visiting a flooring retailer in another country. :P

It doesn't help that none of us got what we wanted. The romancers got about eight or so lines. Those more focused on the operative side got the parts of the character they like erased in favor of the dullest aspect. If her writing had been good, there would be much less acrimony.

I found this one really funny.

"Why did you cast me as the spitting dinosaur?"
"It's got a really good arc to it."
