Shepard: Miranda, why are you wearing my Jacket?

Miranda: What? This thing? Hmmm....*Smirks* I think it looks better on me, Shepard. I think I'll wear it for awhile.

Shepard: But...uh...ok. At least I still have my Hoody....

Miranda: *Walks Away*

*2 minutes later*

Shepard- Hey, Mirandaaaa? Can I have my hoody back?

I can see her making that face when he asks for his hoodie.

"This hurts me".

I wonder if Miri would ever try to Bulk up the Robo Dog, like a Fenrir Mech?

Shepard: What's wrong with the Dog? He seems more.... aggressive.

Miranda: I added a combat protocal to his core, like the Fenrir Mechs back on Freedoms Progress. It wouldn't hurt to give the dog a little more muscle would it?

Shepard: I guess I now have a reason to buy a "Beware Of Dog" Sign.

I can see her playing pranks, that's for sure.

But my Shepard would do the same thing so it isn't a one sided joke here either.

But yeah, I would think she would tinker with machines, especially if it was something like the dog.

Eh, I doubt it.  If the Normandy was ever seriously attacked, RoboDog  wouldn't be able to defend much of anything.

I'm reading fanfics right now. There's not enough Miranda and M/Shep ones. And the ones that are there all have Shepard as the "Paragon of the Alliance" BS.…

Cerberus was an abomination. That's why almost everyone you ran into falt out hated the idea of Shepard being a part of it. I'm not advocating the whole "Paragon of the Alliance", but Cerberus was disgusting. Right now, I find Lance's fanfic is the best I've read.

*shocked*

*blink blink blink*

Why....Thank you. I would normally say something along the lines of maybe judging a bit early, but..I feel genuinly touched by this. Thank you. <3

Cerberus had good intentions but they faltered like every other fringe group that has an agenda.

They remind me of the IRA actually. The intentions were noble, but Jesus the things they did.

That isn't to say the other side wasn't ****ty either.

I don't like Cerberus, if you couldn't tell.

Or Margret Thatcher.

While we're on the subject, based on my own experiences and her personality, she certainly is not the kind of girl to cover up... only maybe as a tease.  I have a feeling she would enjoy driving Shep a bit crazy.

She does tease him. I would imagine she'd do it with nudity as well.

We actually had someone provide a GREAT reason as to why she wanted to have sex in the engine room last night though.

And that was again? I'm afraid I missed it or can't find it or something. *feels like an idiot*

I like the idea of Cerberus and most of my Sheps were at their happiest professionally in ME2. Working with them felt good.

If you notice, the engine room is between both Mordin and Jacob. You don't need cameras to see what's going on.

Kasumi sure notices.

She's showing him off. Why else would she do it in such a open space? What do you think she says to the crew? To Jack?

It's the best explanation I've heard. If that isn't the case she just likes rough sex.

That explanation is tossed around from time to time, yes, or various versions of it.

Kasumi notices everything.  Also, unless I'm mistaken, you can't see the engine room walkway from either Jacob or Mordin's room.

You can't see that part of the engine room from there. I checked. And really I don't need more reason to dislike her.

Heh. What's even funnier is that the entire engine room is cleared. Even Jack.

What explanation do they have?

"Miranda cleared the engine room."

"Why?"

Pretty much. Kasumi cloaks and watches everyone. The Normandy is her Fvaorite Soap Opera. I've often liked the idea of her and Shep getting drunk while dicussing the drama or having shipping wars.

And, I've actually checked. You cannot see the platform in front of the E0 Core from any of the levels. Its still a strong arguement to be sure though.

My handwave of this was, as Modin points out to you, that there are bigs everywhere on the ship. Miri and Shepard's rooms are probably going to have the most over all. Where's the least likely place there'll be bugs? The very noisy E0 Reactor. The fact that Tali and Jack both hang out around there is just a side bonus to her.

I still can't help but chuckle at it.

"Watch for bugs."

But Tali actually mentions bugs in the engine room, so it isn't like they're getting off scott free.

I mean everyone is going to know something is up once he heads down there after she clears the room.

I don't think she cares at that point though, as hours later she quits Cerberus.

I wonder how she cleared the room. What the heck did she tell Jack to get her to leave? And, I have a feeling Ken would have tried to stay and take pictures....

I just figured she was one of those people who like to have sex in places that aren't intended for it. Like some people like the floor even though they're in the bedroom and there's a perfectly adequate king-size bed right next to them.  I'm behind that explanation.

Yet another similarity between Jack and Miri. I don't remember where it was stated but it was said SOMEWHERE that Shepard and Jack had sex all over the Normandy after the Suicide Mission.

As much as Jack hates Miri (I never really saw the hatred going both ways), The two are similar in a lot of ways.

Well you DO do it in a random apartment in the ME3.

Jack and Miranda are similar, whether they'll admit it or not.

Here's something that was in the Jackolyte thread.

"Well, I think that one of the reasons that the breakups by and large are so easy is because BioWare was still dealing with the post-Horizon fallout as well as people complaining about ninja-mancing. So I guess they just wanted it to be like yanking off a band-aid. I think it works for Jack because, as I said, she's has grown as a person and I think it compliments the interpersonal work that Shepard did with her. Jack wants you there, but she doesn't NEED you there. She's not "fixed," per se, but then again, who among us really is?

And another reason I think it works for Jack in particular is what happens when you contrast her with her old arch-rival Miranda. After the two of them butted heads all throughout ME2, they kind of rubbed off on each other about as much as Shepard could rub off on either one of them. In Mass Effect 2, Jack was solitary and lonely with no one to prop her up and she had nothing to feed on but her own rage. Miranda, on the other hand, was so desperate for someone--ANYONE--to accept her for who she was (after dealing with her father, who wouldn't) that she places herself unquestioningly in the hands anyone who won't try to change her.

Mass Effect 3 rolls around and the roles are reversed. Jack found meaning in something greater than herself and acceptance in a kind of mother-hen role for an impromptu family of biotic kids. Miranda, meanwhile, has started trusting herself a little more and is now acting with agency, tracking down a lost sister and getting her revenge on all by herself. Now dump them. Jack, who knows she's good enough finally and at long last and doesn't need Shepard to tell her so anymore, plays it off. Miranda, who at that point has no one else in her life other than you, completely collapses.

I think Jack and Miranda have the most fascinating character dynamic in the entire trilogy. So while some of us want Jack DLC, and some of us want Miranda DLC, I want Jack AND Miranda DLC. I want to know what these two think of each other before endgame.

Wow. I started on one thing and moved on to something else entirely. I'll shut up now."
