Dianna Allers (Everyone's FAVORITE Bosh'tet) discovers Commander Shepard's relationship with Miranda Lawson!

Miranda 'politely' informs Ms. Allers that the Commander and her relationship is off limits and neither Allers or the galaxy's business. She also informs Ms. Allers of the danger of their relationship being exposed to the galaxy at large, until they (Shep and Miri) are ready for such disclosure. She then hacks and erases all data files and any information Allers has, and leaves her with a less polite warning of what might happen if she tries to exploit the relationship without the couple's permission.

This.
And then Shepard threatens to kick her off the ship (if he hasn't already) if any word gets out without their permission.
And he'd be agreeing with Miranda if she does what you said above.

The above pic is basically what Miranda's face would read while telling Allers this.  I like the outfit, would have been cool for her to wear in ME3.

Dianna exposes them anyways. "Shepard in bed with Cerberus Command!" read the headlines.

What happens now?!

Hmm. Black with the hexagons? I like it. Of course the fact that this can be done, a simple recolor to at least symbolize a new look and yet it wasn't done... well it makes my head hurt and my sentences run on.

Setting: Diana Allers apartment 3am, dark, a sleeping Diana Allers rests in her bed silently, a grin on her face from her achievement of exposing the relationship.

Suddenly. A creek. Diana wakes up looks around sees nothing, goes back to sleep.

..All of sudden Shepard appears at the end of her bed. Eyes penetrating her very soul. Everything goes black. She wakes up in a pitch black room, tied unable to move, with a single light on a stationary picture hung from the ceiling by a thread. Diana looks closer..

She's found two weeks later in a deteriorated mental state, she trys to become accustomed to her previously normal life, but to no avail, whenever she closes her eyes she sees the picture. On busy street corners she fears she sees Shepard, after several public mental breakdowns she is sent to a mental hospital where she spends the rest of her miserable life regretting that she ever publicized the Lawson and Shepard relationship.

After Synthesis is Chosen, and if someone where to be wounded, what would they see in the open wound? The absence of Blood, the presence of Metal, Wires, and Lights? I don't want Miri to have a fate like this:unsure:. When the people talk, they probably sound electronic like EDI. No one else actually talked in the Extended Synthesis Ending, except EDI. They probably see green tints everywhere because their eyes glow green. What's next? Telepathy? Evolution is going too fast! This can't be what Mass Effect is all about: Harmony and Unity of Organics and Sythetics via Synthesis.

Synthesis is bizzare on almost every level, but I don't think the conversion is anywhere near as drastic as that.  It's not that organics become synthetic or synthetics becoming organic, but rather everyone gaining an understanding (both physical and mental) of other other side.  Organics gain all the physical advantages of synthetics, while synthetics gain all the mental advantage of organics.   Trust me, Miranda won't be bleeding green circuits anytime soon

I don't want to contemplate the idea of Synthesis. Nope. Nope. NOPE. *insert The Office vid of Steve Carell saying NO several hundred times*

Its too...Its such an unrelated ending to everything in the series. It comes out of nowhere.

Yeah but I don't like the Slide. If only she were STILL looking at the Stars in Synthesis. Besides, Sythesis is in "The Last Minute," like Control. Sure they were kinda hinted throughout the Trilogy, but still, Last Minute Solution Vs. A LONG-Term Goal: Destroy, which EVERYONE (Except the Antagonists) wanted.

And Synthesis is just....Too  Happy. Not everyone in Mass Effect will be. There's a difference Between Happy and Too  Happy. Control is plain stupid. Destroy is Just Right.

Yeah.....I find Synthesis and Control endings too creepy to consider.

Reufsal is ok unless you remember that Shepard is either going to bleed to death or starve.

In Refusal, we lose, and the Reapers win. Exinction of ALL Advanced Life occurs, hence the Liara VI hidden and found THOUSANDS of years later.

This is a Future where EVERYONE, including Miri loses and dies.:(

I love Synthesis. In some ways, it's a natural extension of what the artificially created Miranda already is.

  Love this!

Alliers finally understands why Shepard didn't accept her *alliers* lame come-on's in his cabin after the last interview. ;)

Shepard would get his ass kicked by Miranda Lawson! :o

Control is pretty good if you're a primarily Paragon player.  At that point, Shepard effectively becomes a benevolent dieity who promises to watch over his former friends and the galaxy at large.

Im about a 90% paragon and the other 10% obviously is renegade, and I chose Destroy.

Yes, but we die guns blazing, never giving into the Reapers. And, as an added bonus, Mental Image of the Reapers getting slaughtered straight out of the Mass Relay.

I'm not a fan of Control only because I think its far too much power and Shepard's speach at the end of the game sounds....a bit on the creepy side of things....

Oh, and I'm about 83% Paragon, 17% Renegade.

I'm no fool. I won't Refuse. If I refuse, I would be the Death of Everyone, including Miri. I'm ALWAYS going to do what I ALWAYS wanted to do: Destroy the Reapers. I don't like the fact that BioWare tries to show that the Reapers are "Victims" (In A Sense). But this is for personal preference. ME3 was made in a way that I can still see Reapers as Merciless Villains who must end.

Everyone wanted the Reapers gone forever, and everyone was willing to Sacrifice, including EDI and the Geth, and NO, I did not use their will to sacrifice as an Advantage.

I did it out of a few reasons. Anyone whos ever tried to control the Reapers before has gotten ****ed up the ass. Synthesis is too vague and isolated and forced for me to choose. And, Destroy gives me the acomplishment of reaching my goal to kill the Reapers. The posibility of survival meant nothing to my Shepard, hence why he walks towards the explosion. He's accepted death.

And...watching EDI's goodbye.....OH GODDESS WHY?! *sobs*

Not to mention, Synthesis, you are re-writting DNA of EVERYONE. My Shepard decided who was he to do something like that? And in the control instance I took the same stance as you, Saren and TIM were prime examples to him that Control wasn't even an option to him.

I'm surprise that no one, including Miri, started hating Shepard for Synthesis or Control, as if he let them all down. Those who have died would have died for nothing. And Shepard would be remembered as a coward, or a sell out.
