I just stopped playing ME1 for now. Like I said: I'm seeing My WHOLE Story Again, NO Alterations Intended/Included. Left off with Arriving at the Citadel and the Presidium. I was thinking of Miri<3. Couldn't help it. I didn't play ME1 back in 2007/2008. ME2 was My FIRST Mass Effect Game. So it's a weird feeling having these people in My Squad in ME1. For me, Miri exists even in ME1, even though she isn't around. But she is out there, in Cerberus. She probably doesn't even know who I am yet (I just finished Eden Prime). Maybe, maybe not. I know it's ME1, but I still miss her<3:(.

Uhhh....She probably does know who Commander Shepard is long before ME1. All of his backgrounds seem to have been well publicized. He has quite the reputation.

She probably knows who you are, seeing as you are a survivor of a thresher maw attack and Cerberus experiment, a war hero, or a butcher of Batarians, each of which is shown to have made Shepard very high profile in the alliance. Miranda would at least know Shepard's name. I played ME1 before Miranda was even created, way back in about October 2008. It's honestly a very different experience. The whole exploration mechanic is clunky, yet I feel as though Shepard is genuinely seeing places and planets that have never been explored. It feels so... awesome, part of the appeal to the Mass Effect universe for me.

Off topic, what was your guys' first ME game?

Mass Effect 1. I actually got into the series back in January, so not *that* long ago. But I played ME1 and ME2 nonstop without playing any other game inbetween.

Mass Effect 1.  One of the most pleasant aspects of my recent computer upgrades is that finally...FINALLY, I can run the entire series at a smooth 60fps, including the poorly optimized sections of ME1.

My first game was ME2 on the PS3 back in January '11. I got pretty addicted to it once I got the hang of it. Then I saved up enough money to buy a 360 last June as well as ME & ME2 for it.

Oh for God's Sake NO I DO NOT! Goddamn I'm so sick of people asking me these damn questions like I'm sick creep! Miranda is My Love Interest in Mass Effect, both Preferably AND Personally. She was First and she Remains as My ONLY Love Interest in Mass Effect. Hell yeah I'm going to be emotional from time to time. Is there a problem with that?

And @ the Off Topic: ME2 was My First Mass Effect Game.

Oh, and my first ME game was ME1 (On the 360, thank God) in late 2008/early 2009. Got ME2 about a day after release and pre-ordered ME3.

I'll admit, it took me a while to appreciate the story content and characters. My favorite in the trilogy remains to be ME2.

Mass Effect 1 when it first came out. Was excited to play it until I found out my computer was ****ty and didn't have a shader 3 video card to play it on. The loading times were hell, waiting. Had to do a lot of running on the citadel to avoid it. Got fed up and upgraded my system. I couldn't believe how beautifully it ran and have been in love with Mass Effect ever since! Played nearly all the games I could find with the Bioware label... Jade Empire, NWN, NWN2 and so forth. Dragon Age is also my favorite but bought the game for the PS3 game system. 

The Normandy was so dark in ME1.  ME2's Normandy was refreshing, clean and bright.  Not a big fan of what they did with it in ME3 with all the damn cables everywhere.  But I understand why they did it.  At least most of it's intact.  
The gaming room was a nice addition but I couldn't get Shepard drunk any more with shots at the bar!

No offense but if everyone else is realizing it, then you know you're doing something wrong.
We all love Miranda almost as much as you, don't worry. But I think you should tone down your posts a bit for your sake. Just trying to be a friend.

My first game was ME1, though I did buy it solely to play ME2. I just think starting in the middle would be a very stupid idea. It's like reading a book from the middle, you never get the full story. I'll never understand those who have only played ME3. They are missing out.

I didn't bother buying ME1 at the time. I wanted to go to ME2 ASAP. Wasn't until the September/October of that same year (2010). I'm more 'Emotionally" attached to the ME2 Characters (Garrus and Tali count, in a sense, because I saw them in ME2 first). They are my #1 Team/Family in Mass Effect. Sometimes when I look back to ME1, it feels like a Prequel to my Story. Maybe it's because of me playing ME2 first (I'm used to ME2 more), or it's because this is my 3rd "Official" time playing ME1. When going back to ME2 twice (Twice, because I switched from the 360, to the PC), it felt good.

It's my OCD problem. I emphasize so that I don't change unwillingly. I know it sounds strange, but I have to be blunt. I don't another LI, no matter how much attention and other bull**** other LIs get, and I want to keep it that way. I'm under stress most of the time.
