Agreed. Tough I would also add the part after Shepard is already laying on the ground, when he elevates himself to kiss her, she grabs his head and makes eye contact.Arijharn wrote...
I thought the tummy grab at the start was the best part of the scene though, and the sort of surprised jump that Miranda gives before essentially melting is what makes the scene special. After that... it sorta was, not all that interesting tbh lol.
That's why, IMO, Miranda's romance scene is better than ME1's. Body language like those three examples will always win over nudity.

"What the hell? Shephard and Miranda are half naked and are currently engaged in a fierce liplock battle."
"Oh, she must be checking his implants again... I hear they do it all the time."

I hate when Miranda downplays her abilities. I'll be mad if she's softened up in ME3. I like her best when she's confident and doesn't take **** from nobody.

I'm really wondering what will Bioware do with her.

Yeah. It's so hard to say - she can go in several drastically different directions, as opposed to most other LIs. And about some of them we passionately disagree.Mesina2 wrote...
I may not be real fan of Miranda, but I do wish to see her in ME3 as squadmate.

@Arijharn:
Yes. All the more important then, that this trend doesn't continue. I like the Miranda who is competent and detached, and challenging in the romance. Not against a soft spot here and there, but such should be a rare exception.

Those were just some of the lines that stuck out in my head. It's not because the lines downplay Miranda's abilities. But because I think in those lines you really see a contrast from her normal demeanor which adds a lot to her character. Those are the moments I feel she opens up to you the most. And because those were the only ones I could think of. I love the lines you suggested as well.Ieldra2 wrote...

Urgh....why are your most favorite quotes the ones where Miranda downplays her own abilities and shows less confidence than everywhere else?
Here a few alternatives:
"I put you back together, and I do damn good work".
"We've got an assignment. We can talk about it, or we can do it".
"Stop smiling, damn it"
Though don't mistake that the main reason I like Miri is because she is the only squadmate I would consider Shepard's equal in terms of intelligence, leadership and authority, combat ability, and any other number of traits that make her a strong female character.

It's because the perception that games are for kids remains, no matter how much survey's and relevant organisations lobbying and census data shows otherwise.
I think, hope rather, that sex scene's in ME3 go more ME1's route than anything else as I thought it was tasteful and I suppose slightly erotic. It was a lot better than what we got in any BioWare game since then though.
And while we're breaching the subject, I'd like to say that I don't want sex scenes to be a prize for pursuing the relationship with the characters, it doesn't make sense at all to keep the dying and wrong formula of (talk, talk, talk, sex scene), romance should be more diverse and different from one character to another.
For instance, those of us who import walkthroughs where we romanced Miri from ME2 into ME3, I'd like for the reunion scene to be followed by a conversation on the Normandy then a first sex scene, it doesn't make sense to practically say "I love you" to someone and then wait like half the game (weeks?) to get physically intimate with them, unless Shepard and/or the character in question is very sexually prudent of course.

Yes, I thought that was well done as well. <3 ( The tummy grab and kissing... mmm) I actually liked all of it. It adds to the way she'd be... on top and in control. I haven't heard of any man that would complain in real life about a woman taking charge.
I didn't take it too seriously as others have about the crew being kidnapped. eh... It was now or never. Who knew if they'd be alive. Take the chance or never experience what could have been. <3
I do like Miranda's expression when he declines. That's good too.

I really identify with her feelings around being "given" or engineered to be better at something than others and thus only being able to own her failures. You could play clips of Miranda and I talking about our inherent abilities being above average and then self-depreciating and aside from her being female and me being male, voice and a few minor things, they'd practically be identical clips. xD
Overall, I'd like to see Miranda play a big role in ME3, I mean, she was obviously working behind the scenes in ME1 and was practically essential to ME2's premise. I'd goes as far to say that while the Illusive Man still has the info and the money and such, he's one arm short if Miranda isn't around. She's a genius, deadly, absolutely beautiful, her accent plays to my bias for Aussies, and generally rational and without any of it being overplayed, oh an she's got style, catsuits are god awful but she pulls it off, even if it is somewhat ridiculous for some scenarios. Though not for all, I mean Miranda is that Secretary who doesn't blink when you shove a gun in her face when you try to abduct her boss, she just swats it away and lays the smack down on you.
Okay, put me down as a fan. Unfortunately this means I must buy the poster which I really shouldn't given I'm tight on cash xD.

Possibly I'll come across as spoiling the fun, but I'd absolutely HATE it if Miranda did that dance. Or most of the other dances done in places like Afterlife. I envision Miranda dancing would be much more elegant, even somewhat formal like a court dance. That would be much more appropriate.
