Take Reave as your bonus power, it shreds through barriers and turns armor into tissue paper.

About your ending question: I don't want to derail this thread from its topic any further, so I'll restrict myself to saying that I choose the future that appears to be the most interesting to me. For more details and the in-world reasoning, read the thread linked in my sig and specifically the threads by JShepppp linked therein, that should give you the necessary perspective.
About a Miranda DLC: I think there's a chance for DLC featuring the ME2 LIs not on the ME3 team, perhaps along with other things. I also think there's a chance for Miranda making an appearance in a general story DLC. But rather obviously, she'll never be an irreplaceable character in a DLC.

I did. Ran with Kaidan and Garrus too. Still took forever to kill them.
That last mission....OH MY GOD. 8 Brutes and 3 Banshees running around. TAHNK GOD you don't have to kill them all.
Thankfully, I didn't actually run into the issue of running out of Medi-gel.

I can't wait to see it on Insanity. Insanity basically shows the Player how the Combat REALLY is in the Characters' points of view. In their Eyes, the situation is basically what Insanity is. It makes it more "Realistic."
Right now I'm stuck in ME1, and only finished Therum. I have to finish ME1, ME2, AND ME3 before my next College Semester starts at the end of August. So much to do, ESPECIALLY in ME1.

Only four missions honestly gave me trouble, and that was the Ardat-Yakshi Monistary and that was out of my stupidity of taking James and Javik for some reason. Only reason I won that one was because the second Banshee clipped a corner and couldn't move.
The other two were Priority: Rannoch because of the THREE Geth Primes at the end and the Rannoch Reaper being a **** to take down. And the last two were both halves of Priority: Earth, because of that one Banshee and endless Canibals in the first half and 4 Banshees, 8 Brutes, and endless Marauders, Canibals, and Husks at the end of Priority: Earth.

I'm playing ME1 on Veteran for the first time. It's not bad, because I played ME2 on Veteran, and Normal in ME3 IS Veteran. Veteran is my "Baseline" Difficulty. I'm going to play ME2 on Hardcore. How bad is that? I'm going to play ME3 on Insanity.

Pretty much. When I first started Insanity, I wasn't used to being down in 6 shots or one hit by a grenades.
After that, it gets easier.
Inanity is easy when you realise what you actually need to do, You may occasionally die a lot, but its usually as of no fault to something you did. The key to success is to prioritize your enemies and cut to the power or weapons wheel often to make sure you know where everyone is. That's escentially what all of Priority: Earth is; constantly looking around for where everyone is. It takes forever to whittle down a Banshee's Armor and having three teleporting around at a single time is really painful to deal with. Slightly one reason I'm glad they have a constant slew of Canibals and Marrauders, I have a quick target to jump to if a Banshee gets too close (also for me to jump to when the missles are ready for launch).
By the way, Grissom Academy is also a **** on Insanity. Large open areas, long ranged oponents, too early in the game to have the proper equipment you need. Its a really painful mission...

Taking down multiple Brutes is easy on insanity, a Soldier with Adrenaline rush using a Saber X makes the difference. Banshees are a pain if you don't have a biotic squadmate, biotic explosions makes the difference when they're all in one place.
Not if you start a New Game +, it's easier that way. I always bring Garrus and EDI, multiple overload along with adrenaline rush(make every shot count) makes every cerberus units(Except the Atlas) look like a wet tissue paper.

I like Ventus' story explanation, except I believe TIM isn't actively hunting her (yet) but Miranda has had enough run-ins to be on guard and is also trying to make some noise to get Cerberus off Shepard's back. How do you think that would work with Miranda taking necessary actions to get Cerberus to follow her while buying Shepard the time to get **** done.

Shepard: Miranda made the right decision many months ago. For once you have a dangerous enemy on your Doorstep. It's Pointless, Illusive Man....or should I call you, Jack Harper?
TIM: How...did you-
Miranda: The Shadow Broker always had very interesting information. A name as secret as yours wasn't too hard to come by. You were once a good man. You had a very inspiring goal, but you wasted it all away, betraying not only humanity, but also betraying yourself in the end. If you were here in the flesh, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot you on sight.
TIM: You both had potential. I can see there's no point in reasoning with the two of you. You make a good couple, and now you will end as a couple. Kai Leng, dispose of our...unwanted guests.

If you go into EC hoping for loads more Miranda, you're going to be disappointed. If you go into it accepting that barring the super-low odds of some Miranda restoration DLC of some kind, Miranda just isn't getting enough screentime in ME3, then you might enjoy it as best you possibly can... without much Miranda.
... especially after their announcement that you will get a better goodbye and conclusion with your chosen LI.wright1978 wrote...

EC provided a couple of small Miranda moments that made me smile. Lack of LI re-union|(shep lives) or mourning (Shep dies) was bitterly disappointing though. Ouch more Liara filler.

Sorry but the Illusive Man runs circles around the Shadow Broker. I doubt even the Shadow Broker knows TIM's real name. That name belongs to the Reapers now.
And TIM would be non-chalantly impressed with them finding his name, and make a quip about them being resourceful.
Who do you consider your "true" companions, and why? I presume not James and Javik.jtav wrote...
I started up ME3 again. Turned Shepard into a Sentinel with Slam. Please tell me I'm not crazy and overly sentimental. I miss her. I miss having my true companions at my side. Far from coming back to where I belong, I feel distant and alienated.
