Do these people remember that the other races have had thousands of years to integrate? Humans are extreme newcomers, and yet hold an unprecedented amount of political power. Statements like this seem to ask for too much too soon, especially since the real reason for both was to avoid conflict with the Terminus Systems.Of course Cerberus isn't too far off. Eden Prime got written off as a "human problem" and the same thing happened when the Collectors started abducting human colonists.

And it's true. Just ask the quarians.“There has always been a segment of the human population that believes the Council government is lying to them,” said one agent. “Cerberus exploits that fear.” A confiscated recruitment video included in the report states the Cerberus mentality plainly: “Other species may talk with us, trade with us, even live with us, but when a crisis comes, we are on our own.”
Or the people of Eden Prime and Freedom's Progress.
It seems the Council is only interested in avoiding a conflict when it's the humans on the line. When the quarians attempted to colonize a colony on the other side of the Terminus System, they were very quick to send fleets there to force them to vacate the planet. Where was the Terminus Systems then?Xilizhra wrote...

Too soon? Ah, so how long does it take before a Council race is entitled to some help from our so called "allies"?
The hard truth is that the Council doesn't help because it is not in their interest to help a rival race. The more ships we lose, the better for them.
On the other hand, it is very much in their interest that we colonize dangerous parts of space.

Simple answer: whomever wrote the planet description for Ekuna goofed on its location. In-universe explanation: this probably took place on a different planet and Shepard's database has an error in it that mistakenly calls the planet Ekuna. This isn't unprecedented: Gei Hinnom is stated to be a lifeless waste in the planet description, but land on it and you land in a verdant jungle with a bunch of varren in it. The descriptions often don't synch to reality. It seems the Council is only interested in avoiding a conflict when it's the humans on the line. When the quarians attempted to colonize a colony on the other side of the Terminus System, they were very quick to send fleets there to force them to vacate the planet. It's a joke with the proper set up. Bring liara/ Wrex, and then someone with damping.
I always bring Liara and Kaidan. Triple the amount of Biotic Power. Vanguard, Adept, and Sentinel in one Squad.
I bring Liara because of the Content and the Closure between Liara and Benezia. I bring Kaidan because I he is part of My Main Squad in ME1, along with Garrus.

Carnifex. CARNIFEX ALL THE THINGS. Loved that gun ever since ME2.

My fav. was the ME2 Mattock and ME2 Phalanx, both of which got super nerfed in ME3.

Question: Why does it feel like BioWare is trying to make every other Character in Mass Effect look worthless compared to Liara? She's ****ing everywhere. It's a little redundant.

Because she has the most vocal, and probably largest fanbase. And Bioware did pull out all the stops when they first wrote her.

I'm not sure I ever used them in ME2. They were DLC weapons, weren't they?fiendishchicken wrote...

I still like the Mattock in ME3. Found it really good right from the beta. The Phalanx is alright but lacks the immediate punch of the Carnifex, and I settle for nothing but the best.
