I was a little confused at the beginning of chapter 2 but then realized what happened after reading it.   Funny how you switched the dialogue around with Shepard and Miranda and the apartment scene.

Anyways,  I like what you have written up so far.  Yeah, I think your Shepard's recovery will take a bit of time a year sounds about right.  I also think it will be difficult for Miranda to see Shepard like this with the attached feelings for him now than when he was just a body back then.

Looking forward to how this story develops.    

Love to hear what people have to say. I was actually worried about having that role reversal. Slightly afraid people wouldn't like me doing that with both Kaidan and Miranda and in the same chapter too.

And, yes, His recovery will take some time to complete.

-Bad burns and scaring.
-Broken bones.
-Two removed limbs that need to be cloned and reattached. Prosthetics will need to be used till then.
-Synthetic eye replacements are needed.

Though, that doesn't mean he'll be out for the entire recovery.

Anyone think I'm derailing Miranda at all? That's my biggest fear at the moment about writing her.
