Haha. Pretty much this. She gives her thoughts on the matter and Thomas sometimes does the opposite. She doesn't like that.

There really needs to an "attractiveness" meter in the character creator. If you don't pass a certian threshold, you can't romance anybody.

Call it shallow, but not everyobody is a saint.

Hmm...I don't know maybe it's giving Jack access to top secret Cerberus files, and visiting Omega. Apparently Miranda thinks that Omega is a pisshole.

Hang's out at Afterlife and Purgatory.
Dances with Asari strippers.
Watches Blasto and Vaenia.
Listens to Expel 10.
Generally has banal tastes in culture.

But of course he favors the opposite's of each of these too:

He reads up on ancient Hanar mythologies, Historical Turian governments, and ancient Asari dialects
He knows how to tango (the women's part)
Has exquisite taste in decorationg his cabin.
Treats Miranda to expensive but meaningfully romantic dates
Shows her what it's like to be normal, and unconditionally loves her for who she is, as well as being madly in lover with her both physically and romantically.
