Actually come to think of it that might've pissed off Miranda as well.

...yeah.

At the end of the book Dietz (the author) thanks Hudson, Walters and Drew for their guidance.

And yes, Kai Leng wouldn't have come across as this rediculous had Drew wrote the book instead of Dietz.  Drew wrote him a lot better in prior novels.

yeah but drew also wrote gillian and kahlee - the most annoying characters i have ever had the misfortune to read... seriously the novels and comics do nothing good for mass effect.

Feeding/petting Urz on Tuchanka. If you have her in the party and have Urz following you around she'll actually say "Shepard, we have work to do stop playing with the Varren."

It's true. Miranda doesn't like canines. She always did seem more of a feline person

No, Microsoft and their funding got Mass Effect off the ground. All Casey did was come up with the idea.

I don't actually see Miranda as a pet person. Shepard would attract animals to him non-stop. I think Miranda, if she had any animal, would be a horse person, or an exotic bird or fish person. I see her as admiring Shepard's fishtank.

My limited binary brain was thinking only in terms of cats and dogs. But I see now how foolish that was...

In all seriousness, I do like some of those ideas. Horseback riding seems like something Miranda would enjoy. Maybe it's the aristocratic side of equestrian events. Also the birds and fish. There I guess it's the exotic side of things.

Out of these other options, I think fish would be the best choice, partially because fish are the largest animals permitted for starship travel.

And this is just IMO, but the fully completed fishtank in ME3 is friggin awesome. One of the most aesthetically pleasing things in the game.
