Yeah, that would be the only dubstep song I can actually listen to. Joel is freakin' hilarious. :P

Edit: Miranda!

I wish I was at Comic Con right now...

On the subject of Rooster Teeth, both Geoff and Gus have said Mass Effect is one of their favorite game series, and they both romance Miranda.

I can't agree more. I realize how big of a nerd I am when all of my favorite things are all under one roof at a comic con.

LoL, so true. I've never really done the whole convention aspect of things, though I've always been a fan of a lot of nerdy stuff.

Maybe I'll have to try it sometime.

I'm not ashamed to admit it, but me too.

Except Star Wars. I could never really get behind Star Wars. To much Fi and not enough Sci. The Stormtroopers and associated imperial troopers have really cool looking armor though, as do the clones.

I'm really interested in hearing Guillermo Del Toro talk about the ME movie. It's got Shepard but it doesn't have anything to do with the Reapers or the storyline of the games. I'm sort of picturing a story set during the Skyllian Blitz.

I went back in 2009 when I lived in Cali. E3 was also awesome that year, ME2 trailer and a meet and greet with some of the cast (Jennifer Hale, Seth Green, Tricia Helfer, Brandon Keener, Adam Baldwin, and YVONNE!!)That was a good year. Last year was the year to go though, at least for me. This year has a bunch of great stuff, but my interests are probably not going to get a lot of real attention. My favorite video game series has already been finished with DLC the only thing on the horizon and not really worth going over at something as big as Comic Con, My favorite TV show (Chuck) is over, no big reveal of the Avengers cast, nothing too big for Star Wars, or at least none that I really care about anymore (The only time for SW I care about anymore is the post RotJ and KotOR periods). Still, Comic Con would have been the event of the year for me. Right now, I'm sitting in my apartment doing a trilogy runthrough, watching Season 2 of Chuck (haven't seen those episodes in ages) and trying not to get depressed about a long drill weekend in this damn heat. Waiting for news on ME3 DLC, Dexter season 7 details (screw the show, I just want Yvonne), and generally interesting stuff this year is freaking killing me.

Anyone else having to deal with this terrible drought here in the US?

I honestly bet (and even kind of hope) that the film is going to fall through. It's going to probably get stuck in development hell forever, unless they don't make it about Shepard, in which case it would be a cheesy Saturday afternoon Sci-Fy channel b-movie.

I'm not very keen on seeing an ME movie period, unless of course I was the one who did the screenplay and casting.

Theoretically, who would you like to see as a cast using all ME 1-3 squadmates and important people (anderson, TIM, Joker, Harbinger, etc.)?

This reminds me. How do you think Miranda (and maybe Shepard) would punish their kids for misbehaving? lol

Torture racks, electric chair, animal tranquilizers.

And an iron maiden for those especially nasty incidents.

You mean... an entertainment drought? Or an actual drought, like with water? Or without water, I guess I should say Posted Image

Hmm, more realistically...Posted Image

Probably no supper, no visits to Aunt Oriana, bed early, no vacations to the Citadel, and having to spend time with Uncle Wrex. Wrex will condition their kids.

I would love to see Miranda in the movie. If they put Miranda into the movie I would worry about who they would cast to play Miranda. I think that they should put Miranda into the movie and get Yvonne Strahovski to play her, she would just have to dye her hair brown for the part. Yvonne is the only person in the world that can play the role of Miranda properly.Posted Image

Hot, humid summers have never been my favorite time of year.

I wish I enjoyed ME3 more than I do. Diablo 3 was ok for a playthrough or two, but I found it got boring quickly. I am currently devouring the Game of Thrones novels, though.

Kid: But uncle Wrex, I don't wanna feed Kalros! It's too much work!

Wrex: Stop complaining, back in my day we had this sterility plague set upon us by those misbehaving turians. You know what I did to those turians?

Kid: No. What did you do uncle Wrex?

Wrex: I ATE THEM.

Problem with that is that it sets the "War Hero" psychological profile as canon.

Well everyone knows that if BioWare lets the movie get made, it will probably follow one of their scripts. It'll be an Earhborn, War Hero, Uber-Paragon, Ashleymancer (Liara would be too controversial for a blockbuster), that is your dreary alliance stooge. It would be a rehash of Captain America for all intents and purposes.

Miranda: Why not honey?

Kid: I'm having nightmares.

Miranda: About what?

Kid: Uncle Wrex eating me..

Miranda: What?!

Shepard: *facepalm*

Miranda: Dammit Shepard, I told you we should have just given him the time-out.

I doubt a hypothetical film would end up resembling the game much at all. Directors have so much creative control in Hollywood, scripts get messed with and rewritten endlessly, etc.

I'm actually reading the Dexter novels right now. Much better than the show. Dexter just got bad after the 3rd season. But I want to see Yvonne get some real action (I bet she's going to be an LI) and I want to see her be evil as well.

As for the heat, its the hottest summer in the US since records began in 1895.
