Actually season 6 wasn't that bad.

I tried the Synthesis ending last night. Now that there's the epilogue slides, everything looks freaky. Though I will say that if for some reason, I couldn't get to 3100 EMS so Shep could survive destroy, I'd go with Synthesis instead (if Shep can't live, then EDI should and I'd rather do Synthesis than Control).

When I did it last night with my Mirandamancer Thomas, Ash put his name up on the memorial wall and EDI comforted her after. Talk about some mixed signals there.

I'm really interested in hearing Guillermo Del Toro talk about the ME movie. It's got Shepard but it doesn't have anything to do with the Reapers or the storyline of the games. I'm sort of picturing a story set during the Skyllian Blitz.

I honestly bet (and even kind of hope) that the film is going to fall through. It's going to probably get stuck in development hell forever, unless they don't make it about Shepard, in which case it would be a cheesy Saturday afternoon Sci-Fy channel b-movie.

I'm not very keen on seeing an ME movie period, unless of course I was the one who did the screenplay and casting.

Theoretically, who would you like to see as a cast using all ME 1-3 squadmates and important people (anderson, TIM, Joker, Harbinger, etc.)?

As much as I very much want to see a Mass Effect film, It will never work.

You could never do the charcaters justice.

With Mass Effect 1's plot, you could have much of the plot intact with Feros, Noveria, Virmire, and Ilos being shortened a bit rather easily. Maybe a bit of an issue on who to kill on Virmire (Which will upset half of the fanbase...) and developing each of the crew.

Mass Effect 2 however....You have Miranda, Jacob, Modin, Jack, Grunt, Garrus,  Tali, Thane, Samara, Legion, Zaeed, and Kasumi to portray. Not to mention Joker, EDI, and maybe Kelly Chambers. Thats a TON of characters to really grow to care for in an hour and a half (leaving a half hour for the Suicide Mission). Someone will get sidelined and I have a feeling it will be my favorite of Kasumi, and Thane would probably get sidelined too considering his poor ME3 treatment.

Then Mass Effect 3 has to tie up everyones story arcs from previous movies such as Mordin/Wrex and the Genophage, Quarians vs. the Geth, ete. Which takes forever as it is, not to mention the fact that, if ME3 is made into a movie, EVERYONE will have ANOTHER s*it storm over the endings AGAIN.

So, I would absolutely love to see Mass Effect as a movie series, but not at the cost of my favorite characters and plots not getting the screen time they need.

I have a question about Miranda. Is that a tatto on her neck or a necklace? And when Shepard says that he loves Miranda on the first meeting on the Citidel does Miranda kiss Shepard's cheek? These are the two things that I have always been wondering.....

I see a ME movie trilogy doing this:

ME1: Shepard romances Ashley
ME2: Shepard romances Miranda after Ashley badmouths Shepard on Horizon
ME3: Shepard is guilty and goes back to Ashley, Miranda dies

Yep, Kiss on the cheek that's completely out of camera line is about as sexy as her romance gets... : /

And, its some necklace thingy. It pops out of her neck, so its a necklace thingy....Not exactly why she has it, it looks uncomfortable.

It looks like some sort of collar.

I think that's what it's supposed to be, but the camera work isn't really telling.

I would be upset after Ashley just surviving. I always save Kaidan, mostly because I feel like he's the more appropreate choice and I like him a bit better than Ashley.

That's also an issue with the movie. You're going to alienate half of your fanbase half way through the first film.

First question- I'm sure it's a necklace. Like 90% sure? haha

Second question- Yeah, kiss on the cheek. I wanted lips though.

It's a leather choker-necklace-thing. Miranda's head and body are two separate pieces and there's a seam between the upper and lower neck that lets the head move independently from the body. Her collar is what hides the gap.

It really reminds me of that one story about a girl who wore a green scarf around her neck. :?

Thanks! I thought that it was most likely a necklace since Miranda doesn't seem like the kind of person who would have a tattoo. I couldn't really see what Miranda was doing on the Citadel but I thought that Miranda kissed him but then I noticed that Shepard didn't turn his head, so you guys are probably right it is a kiss on the cheek.

I'd actually prefer a mini-series. Same with KotOR.

I can't agree more. I realize how big of a nerd I am when all of my favorite things are all under one roof at a comic con.

Problem with that is that it sets the "War Hero" psychological profile as canon.

Well everyone knows that if BioWare lets the movie get made, it will probably follow one of their scripts. It'll be an Earhborn, War Hero, Uber-Paragon, Ashleymancer (Liara would be too controversial for a blockbuster), that is your dreary alliance stooge. It would be a rehash of Captain America for all intents and purposes.

Not if MacDaddy Walters has anything to say about it.

This is not a Liara hate post.

I wouldn't mind a mini series, though, I'm not sure it would have the budget to cover the costs.

That still doesn't help in the fact that Mass Effect has a ton of vast choices that are going to alienate your audience completely.

I saved Kaidan on Virmire because, as much as I love Ashley and she was the LI up till that point, Kaidan was my brother in arms, ete. Well, Movie Time! Shepard saves Ashley and I feel sort of out of place here...

I romanced Miranda/Tali/Jack/Thane/Jacob/Garrus in Mass Effect 2, come movie edition, Shepard romances Kelly Chambers.

Get what I'm saying?

My headcanon is that Shepard was in love with Ashley but she died on Virmire and, out of mourning for a loved one, Liara and Shepard turned to the other for comfort. : / No reason the film writers can't do something similar.

Exactly my thoughts. I'm going to go back to Sanctuary now. I know this point was brought up, but when Miranda said she needed to clean herself up after she killed Henry, why did Shepard not invite her on the Normandy? They have a state of the art med-bay, and they could have spent time together at long last. And it's a safe place.
But nope. "See you later Miranda" is all we get.
