I have a question about Miranda. Is that a tatto on her neck or a necklace? And when Shepard says that he loves Miranda on the first meeting on the Citidel does Miranda kiss Shepard's cheek? These are the two things that I have always been wondering.....

First question- I'm sure it's a necklace. Like 90% sure? haha

Second question- Yeah, kiss on the cheek. I wanted lips though.

Yeah, a kiss would have made more sense because it would have showed that she cared for Shepard more. I mean they haven't seen each other in 6 months and all Shepard gets is a kiss on the cheek?Posted Image

Writers could have been thinking that Shepard respects her independance and self-reliance.

I'm not saying they portrayed it well at all, but that may have been what they were shooting for.

Out of the DLC's available for ME2, if you could only pick one to download, which is the best?  I have a paycheck coming up in two weeks and I want to know what to splurge on.

Lair of the Shadow Broker.

But God is it pandering to Liara fans.

YEah, Lair of the Shadow Broker, is pretty much the best. But, you could also tell Liara(in her face!) that you have Miranda. Although in a different manner, to the fact that she will be the one who will open it up.

I have also been wondering why Miranda didn't get extremely angry at Shepard after he shot Oriana in the leg? I mean, if my boyfriend shot my sister in the leg I would get really mad at him before I forgave him. Miranda forgave Shepard far too easily.

I didn't see Miranda appy medigel to Oriana's injured leg.

You can assume she does when they leave Sanctuary.

Same for her "scratch" that needs "cleaned up".

On Datapad she sends you a message.

"Still getting patched up."

Implies she's treating herself or seeing a doctor. She isn't just slapping medigel on it.

Miranda realized it was the only way to save Oriana (she wouldn't know whether or not you had Charm/Intimidate dialogue option).

The question is, why would you shoot Oriana in the leg? It's a dick move on anyone's part. Miri cares about Oriana very much, and you shoot her in the Leg? This is for the players who do not have enough Rep right? Next time I'm choosing the Red Option (Intimidate Option) instead of Charm, because I finally meet the old bastard face to face, and Charm seems too nice in that situation. No way. I'm going to threaten Henry, because this is involving my Love Interest, and her sister, and I'll be damn if I'm going to let anything bad happen to Miri and Ori. Threaten to kill him, and let Miri toss his Ego-Maniacal ass out the window.

Anyway:

Sort of funny if you have Miranda RIGHT THERE. Hehehe....

Let's just imagine that she did, better yet maybe Oriana just acted that she got shot but by Shepard but the gun just overheated. Lot's of possible scenarios.

I assume she says this if you romanced Liara in ME1 and moved on?

That would explain why I've never encountered this dialogue before.

Who played the voice of Ori? At first I almost thought Yvonne played both parts, but she didn't.

On the datapad? Do you mean the messages that you can read on the ship? I don't remember getting any messages like that?

Datapad, the iOS app. After certain points in the game, you can receive e-mails from a number of characters.

The best one in my opinion is " Now Garrus is calibrating a lot more than the Normandy's main gun."

Miri should punch the "Shepards" who shoot Ori's leg, or something worse than a punch.

Loved that one too.

Could have also been "Now you're adding your felxibility to Garrus' reach!"

Because Miranda would have done exactly the same thing to save Oriana.

But what if you couldn't choose charm option? What if game could provide only choice between shooting Oriana in her leg or get her killed by her father? What would you choose? I think Miranda would be grateful for saving her sister despite that. Sometime you have to make difficult choices but it doesn't mean it's bad.

btw have you seen Speed? There was the same situation

Exactly. it's either wound Oriana or let Henry get away with her or get killed by Henry.

Lots and lots of pent up frustation over Miranda's role in  ME3.
That's why I shoot her sometimes at least.

Attention Miranda fans!

The Romance DLC Survey ends today at 3pm EST.  Yesterday we were sitting  at whopping 7,500 responses!  We're trying to get as close to 10K as we can!

If you haven't yet taken it, and are interested, PLEASE pop over there and take the survey (see link in my sig).  It will only take 5 minutes of your time...unless you like to make comments. ;)

Results will be analyzed statistically, summarized into a report, and sent to Bioware.  If you want to be heard on this issue, this is the best way to do it!

Please take the survey and spread the word:  https://www.surveymo...omancedlcsurvey

This will be my last spam of your thread.  Thanks for being tolerant  <3

I tried the Synthesis ending last night. Now that there's the epilogue slides, everything looks freaky. Though I will say that if for some reason, I couldn't get to 3100 EMS so Shep could survive destroy, I'd go with Synthesis instead (if Shep can't live, then EDI should and I'd rather do Synthesis than Control).

When I did it last night with my Mirandamancer Thomas, Ash put his name up on the memorial wall and EDI comforted her after. Talk about some mixed signals there.

I think Synthesis is supposed to be a little creepy, but yeah, they went overboard with that pattern overlay. Makes Miranda look outright ugly. I'd rather have the more subtle effect of the Normandy scene. Minus Joker's hat, of course.

Of course I take it as an artifact of the medium, an artistic representation of less visible changes. Miranda has some patterns in my headcanon, but neither do they look like circuits nor are they this unsubtle. Her eyes stay the old blue-gray unless she wills it otherwise.
