While I really do like Miranda, she is the perfect LI for Shepard. Yes, I can't see myself having him romance anyone else.

But Luis, you are a zealot.

I dunno about anyone else, but every time I try to romance somebody else, I back off at the alst second.

I don't know what the hell it is, but I just can't do it. Like some subconscious block.

First time I played ME1, I romanced Ashley for the achievement. But I'm not romancing her again.
Yeah, I probably wouldn't be able to do it either.

Good thing for me I got my ME1 paramour before ME2 came out, so Miranda didn't exist then.

... That looks much worse on-screen much worse than it seemed in my head.

I bet some people have Miri die because they want to hear "I Love You," which to me is Dark on the player's part. You cause your LI's Fatality because you want to hear "I Love You," to make it more emotional? This isn't The Matrix: Revolutions for crying out loud. Besides, Miri is not Stupid. She is no doubt a Woman of Common Sense. She can see it through your eyes that you love her, and you can see through her eyes that she loves you.

I can't kill Miranda off.

ME2 Miranda: I can't kill off
ME3 Miranda: Possibly

I can't believe I made, and finished a FemShep Playthrough (Without the EC) with Liara as the LI. Of course, since this was FemShep, and since this was Alternate, I wasn't seeing myself as Shepard. I wasn't sucked in. I didn't see myself as the Liaramancer. I saw FemShep as the Liaramancer. Liara wasn't My LI, she was FemShep's you get what I'm saying? That wasn't from ANY Personal Preference for that, in any what, and it was supposed to be that way because it was a Different Mass Effect, though the majority of the decisions were the same.

While seeing My WHOLE Story again starting with ME1 (Which I'm still stuck in), I started wanting to Romance Liara, but then that interest disappeared quickly. Sort of like a "Whoa! What the **** am I doing?!" thing.

And I'm NOT going to Romance with ANYONE in ME1 just to get a damn Achievement. Simply put, that's stupid. I mean, why the hell would I have a Romantic Relationship with People I have NO "Romantic" Interest with just to get an Achievement? I don't have EVERY Achievement in ME1 and ME2, and it doesn't bother me. I don't want to play Insanity in ME2. I'm saving THAT for ME3 NG+ Extended. I'm saving the whole "Complete Achievements" Thing for ME3.

What can I say? Of course I'm committed. That's dedication for ya.;) I don't see it as creepy or what not. I think that Mass Effect was made in such a way, that you grow a personal attachment to a certain Character.

It's not creepy if you feel that way about Miranda and you are a guy!Posted Image I feel attached to Miranda too, but in a different way then you since I am a girl. I am attached to Miranda because I love her personality, character, story, voice actress, I also thinks that she looks good and am glad that her outfit covers her body, unlike Jack's.Posted Image The only thing that I hate about Miranda is the fact that BioWare kept showing camera angles of her behind, being a girl I do not appreciate that.Posted Image

I'm a guy, and I don't like that.

I can think of a number of other guys who don't like that.

I despise the amount of of ass shoots... Miranda is more than that.

Too bad that the devs used the ass shoots as her trademark.

It's become a (poor) running gag, I guess.

Like "Calibrations". Difference is that the calibrations jokes were generally funny (But oh my God were they overused in ME3). The ass-shots just ****** me off.

That's BS! Miri shouldn't be remembered because of her Ass. You know what's ****ed up though? Some players only think about that part of Miri, hence "Dat Ass!" Yes, we can all agree that Miri's Face and Body are Lovely, BUT, that's definitely NOT the only reason why we all Love her.

Agreed, I hate it whenever I read comments to a Youtube video and some people who respond to a Miranda video say "Dat Ass." It makes me angry when there are people who only like Miranda because of her behind! It makes other people think that all Miranda fans are like that.

Well, we are not all like that. I mean, Miri is Incredibly Beautiful and Sexy. Pardon my words. She is the Most Beautiful and Sexy Women in Mass Effect. Hell, in ALL Video Game History. I Love Miri because she is Smart, she is Beautiful, she is Strong, and she is Bad Ass. She is a Powerful Biotic, she is a Wonderful Marksman, she is a Well-Driven Woman, and is a Woman with BEAUTIFUL Character Development, from ME2, ALL THE WAY to ME3.

If you want "Creepy," go to the people who wondered, and discussed about Tali's Sweat. *Hint Hint*

That is the main reason why I noticed/liked Miranda's character. It is because out of all of the characters in the ME universe Miranda's has the most deepest character development of them all. You start off disliking her, but after her loyalty mission in ME2 you start to see her change for the better and you think (well I thought anyway) "what amazing emotional/deep character developtment Miranda has!"Posted Image

I have to confess though: I was interested in Miri before I even bought ME2, and ME2 was my First Mass Effect Game. I didn't know what I was dealing with more than 2 years ago. I first saw Miri in the Shepard TV Commercial, where Shepard says, "Humans are disappearing. That can't Happen." I knew little of Mass Effect. I remember seeing how real it looked when looking at pictures of Mass Effect in a Game Informer Magazine I think in 2007 or 2008, so I was aware of Mass Effect capacity for Good CGI.

At the time I first saw Miri and first played ME2, I didn't know who Yvonne Strahovski was, I didn't know she existed until I saw her name in the Game Manuel later on, then I saw an interview on X Play.com, but that was....I think after I completed ME2 once. Hell, I didn't even know what Chuck was at the time.

Anyway, when I first saw Miri's face in that Commercial, her face, for some reason, reminded me of a Beautiful Woman with Dark Hair that you would have seen in a movie from the 60's, like in Romance Films, Musicals, Bond Films, etc.

The first time I heard her voice (I didn't know she'd have an Aussie Accent, and I didn't know her name, I think.), was when I saw her in a YouTube Video when Shepard woke up with Miri looking from above. I saw her closer too. I'm not going to lie. When she was saying 'Another dose. Now," I thought to myself, "Miranda's Hot!" or something like that (Please don't kill me.:( It was more than 2 years ago, and I was 19.:crying:).

So then I watched another video, showing the moment in time when she was talking DIRECTLY to The Illusive Man in the Prologue. I think that was also when I found out that Martin Sheen was TIM, or was it before?

I looked ME2 and Miri up on Wikipedia, because during this time my sister was playing DA:O, and I found out that both Games were made by BioWare. When I found out that there can be Romantic Relationships, and when I found out that Miri was a Potential Love Interest/Romance for a Male Shepard, I IMMEDIATELY Picked her!

I didn't want ME1 at the time. I wanted ME2 ASAP! While playing ME2, I fell in Love with Miri EVEN MORE, Looks, Intelligence, Personality, and all<3! So at first, it was her Beauty and her Voice as well (I think) that drove me to her. Then it just GREW with More Reasons, Traits, Aspects, whatever you want to call it because I can't think of the right word. This includes  Intelligence, Personality, Strength, ETC!

This may be a late Screenshot of Mine, which I took several months ago, but this was when I first saw Miri, in that Commercial, more than 2 years ago:

That is a beautiful smile. A pity that is associated with such poorly execution, Miranda being finaly free after 35 years should have been one of the highlights of the game for us.

How do you guys think of Miranda being in her mid-30's at the time of the games. personally I see her as a more of a 28-32 age range, same as Shepard. I have no problem with her being older than Shepard, but for some reason Miranda seems younger than she is. I've kind of headcanoned it as her being physically 2/3's her chronological age. thus, chronologically she's 36, but physically she's 24, although this makes it hard to explain her age when younger. Or her genes could've been enhanced to keep her body "younger" for a longer amount of time.

Well, she is to live twice as long as the Average Human, I think 200 years. When she's 80, or 90, she'll probably look like she's in her 40's. She ages slower as well, I think.

Well, people live ~60-70 years longer in the ME-verse than they do nowadays (~150 in-game). I would assume aging has been artificially slowed somewhat. Miranda will live even longer than that standard, as will Shepard (~225; most likely).

It doesn't bother me at all anyway. She's only, what, a year and a half to 2 older than Shepard?

She is five years older.

And Shepard could go either way. If you want to believe his Lazarus upgrades extend his lifespan, you're free to do so.

Oh, right.

for some reason I thought Shepard was born in 2152-'53.
