Very beautiful, jtav. Miranda and Samantha are very well written, and I absolutely love the plot - and that the end feels like a beginning. I would like more stories set in that continuity, preferably something with a focus on that secret war going on.

There are things I hold dearer than that promise. Into the light he goes. But this is the sort of death that I can work around very easily, the sort that almost never sticks. So he'll get his shiny new galaxy and the girl.

I recall when the Synthesis ending (called "merge" then) was discussed in the old spoiler group about the leaked script, someone said "How can you not imagine Shepard coming back after that". She even brought an example from another story, though I forgot what it was.

I dunno about anyone else, but every time I try to romance somebody else, I back off at the alst second.

Don't I know that! I wish I could play *one* ME3 game where I end up with Ashley, but it doesn't work. I just can't not romance Miranda in ME2 with a maleShep, and I can't not confirm her romance in ME3. Maybe I'll get around to a "for science" run with confirm-and-cheat one day, but so far none of my maleSheps ever managed to end up with anyone else  but Miranda.

I've made an apparent age calculation some time ago. If you start aging at 20, and Miranda ages at 2/3 of the usual speed, then she'll look 30 when she's really 35. Doesn't really matter for me though. Miranda is who she is and looks as she looks. Age doesn't matter.

I can't take the guy who had the idea of the ass-shots seriously: "Ok, for Miranda let's make at least one convenient camera angle in every scene she is present, her fans will love it!".
It's really detrimental to Miranda's image but all the more to the devs who had the idea, it's not Miranda's character who is at fault for this afterall.
Although there's one shot I found rather cleverly used, the one during the first paragon romance dialogue when she says "And perhaps I wouldn't mind if you admired my body".

My Shepard's a Renegade, not a douchebag. He doesn't listen to hip-hop ****, he listens to what pleases him, when it pleases him. As a badass should be.

He's actually a paragade, but he has a rather negative demeanor a lot. 

If Miranda had to have a pop-theme song it would be Short Skirt/Long Jacket. On that train of thought.....

Has anyone here (who is a chuck fan) ever drawn a story comparison between Chuck and Mass Effect. I did. I know it makes false and arrogant assumptions, but it starts with Shepard recieving the Prothean Vision back on Eden Prime.

But in all seriousness, that scene where she's talking about her perfected genes has a pan shot of her entire backside that is very fitting.

What I find annoying about the ass shots is that I get the impression Miranda was created to be made fun of, not to be taken seriously as a character. They may have made her beautiful for her fans, but the ass shots sure helped her detractors more.

That's the way I look at it. And I believe Yvonne Strahovski was about 27-28 when she did the role.

Some of those pictures have reminded me of this.
