For me it was more Jessica Misinformed-izan saying "The ME2 cast receives some love."

Cause, y'know, very slightly variable PowerPoint slides is showing "love" to the ME2 cast.

Somebody asked if they received some love, and she said "yes," which is true. What should she have said?

The flashback and the epilogue slides were good. I like them. I'm not satisfied with Miranda's role in the game (which I guess comes as no surprise to anyone), and I hope that it is improved (story and romance). But it's going to take something more substantial than could really be included in the EC.

I would hardly say "true" in that scenario. "love" implies effort, or at least some semblence of sh*t-giving. It comes off more like-

Bioware employee 1: Oh sh*t, we promised we would make some content for Jacob, Grunt, Samara, etc. We used up all our budget overdramatizing the Synthesis epilogue cutscene, so we need something really easy and looks like we put effort into it!

Bioware employee 2: Hey, I have an idea! *logs onto PowerPoint* Heh, they'll never be the wiser...

BE1: Heh, good one bro. *fistpump*

I want a DLC Mission where it's only me, and Miri. No one else, like Kasumi's LM. A Duo<3.

To be honest, what hurt more was seeing Liara instead of Miranda when I first stumbled into the Synthesis beam.

It just hurt.

You know what I mean?

That hurt more than the slides.

Well, both Miranda and Jack have weapon slots, for what it's worth.

And voice acting isn't as difficult as people make it out to be.

Then again I can actually see Walters doing a Liara DLC.

Dead serious.

On the plus side, Walters, as far has been confirmed, isn't being let anywhere near DLC. Same with Hudson. They're being kept on the sidelines for other projects.

And as for Strahovski being chopped up... Sad face.:crying:

This Walters/Hudson no-no stuff keeps popping up, but I've yet to see a source for it. I'm not saying I don't trust you or anything, but I don't trust the idea in general without some more concrete proof. Since I'm here in friendly Miranda thread territory again tonight, I'll go ahead and ask -- where did you hear this? I'm trying to isolate the origin.

I saw it in another thread (I think it's called something like 'Does Bioware know how bad the ending really is') and on a thread at the HTL pageabout how the other Bioware employee's were upset with the how Hudson and Walters handled the ending. Publically, they're all for the ending, but privately it's speculated that a lot of them weren't happy with how everything went. And the patterns are there; we're not seeing much of Hudson and Walters lately. Officially, they're working on Biowares next project, but seeing as ME3 only came out 4 months ago and they've barely done any real DLC for it, I think they're being sidelined for damage control. Whether or not BW agree's with the ending is academic, Hudson and Walters are being sidelined because a lot of fans blame them both personally for the bad endings. If either of them have any say on DLC, the fans are not going to be happy about it. Plus, both of their condescending, even spiteful, attitudes and complete disregard and degradation of upset fans has them being locked up to keep them from pissing off the community even more. The last thing BW wants is for them to get into a ****** fight with us fanboys and girls.

I'd buy it.

But what would be REALLY nice is a picture of her for the cabin.

Something to remind Liara to stay out of my room.

She showed up in the EC.

But the first time I was like:

WTF is this ****?

My last moments are spent on Liara.

???

But I choose Destroy so it's all good.

Yeah, it certainly makes sense. Sound. I'll do some more hunting, though. I'd really be interested in finding proof on the matter. I don't really dislike them as individuals, although yeah, they get pretty condescending sometimes, it seems. But I think it would definitely be for the best if they were isolated from the bulk of the single-player DLC, yeah.

I heard from a very reliable source that Michael Gamble romanced Miranda.

And stayed loyal to her.

Appeal to him ladies and gentlemen. Talk to the producers.

I wouldn't wish joblessness on anyone. It sucks being unemployed. But in the case of Hudson and Walters, I wish for their careers to stagnate and get monotonous and repetitive to the point they consider alternate means of employment. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's how I really feel.

Though there is nothing more that I would love than seing Walters and Hudson sidelined from ME3 DLC I just can't see it happening. As long as ME3 is selling, EA is happy and the company isn't known to change its ways to please fans, so they'll stay and finish the job of screwing up the franchise.

After I installed the EC I walked over to the pipe.

I can't remember if I smiled or I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw Miranda.

Walters is a Liaramancer and I believe Hudson is an Ashleymancer, correct?

Regardless of how many copies ME3 sells, EA and Bioware's stock has been steadily dipping ever since '08. It dropped like an anvil in late '11.

So I wouldn't quite say that EA is happy yet.

As a guy on Youtube put it, "EA is headed by business people. If they break even, they worry that they start losing money. If they make money, they worry that they start making less money.

Michael Gamble is now our official target. We must make him aware that there is a light at the end of the tunnel... so long as he's willing to go the distance. Not for us. But for himself.

Bioware is looking for a new lead writer for Mass Effect.

The DLC will probably be left to the other writers.

Such as Weekes.

But Hudson will always be involved.

Same, unless they add the High EMS Refusal option. The Reapers have to die. They're too much of an abomination to let them survive. If I became the catalyst via control, every reaper would be flown into a black hole.

You sure? I can't see him letting the amount of content Jack got slide. If that's the case, then we've been targeting the wrong person. The man is clearly a low grade moron.

Well, I think he's just in the unfortunate position of being at the top of the chain -- but still beneath Riccitello, et al. Without his self-professed love for Jack, I doubt we'd have even gotten the dance scene. I really feel like that was him. He sat down one day after Grissom Academy was mapped out and said, "no. There must be more."
