Well, I've tipped Joystiq about the tweet, hopefully word gets out. I would some Miranda DLC, but would Yvonne Strahovski be available for VO work? She seems kind of busy lately.

I heard from a very reliable source that she's a killer in Dexter.

I heard it from her actually.

Once she's done being chopped up she'll have time.

I may have also heard about the next project she's working on...

Dexter, that's it.

Not that it matters, VA work for Bioware is easy. She doesn't need to be in the studio. As long as it doesn't conflict with her actual filming and shooting, she could do it on the job.

I meant more recently. Who knows what they've done with it since then.

Well, unrinated on it, defiled it, wiped their asses with it, burned it, and now they throw darts at its charred remains...

Obviously :P

I mean, I'm surprised they haven't posted pictures of that as well

Filming for television takes a few days an episode. She's more than likely half way done with it by now.

Make an effort and people will notice.

Something extraordinary would be a bread winner.

The first fanbook was extraordinary, and for all we know they could have turned it into toilet paper.

Well, they did post a single picture and shortly mentioned it at some panel.... still not the reaction I would expect from a dedicated game-developer.

I mean, which fan-base (ever) sent the developers ~100 dedicated letters and very much beautiful art, bound in a high-quality book, to express their love and need for videogame characters?...

I meant more recently. Who knows what they've done with it since then.

I'm aware of the lone photograph and passing panel mention.

I doubt they ever read it. Just flicked through and now it's laying on some desk, covered by lots of cool concept for a rogue Reaper...

Ah, never cared much about Dexter, though now I may be forced to watch this new season :P
I've just had a thought, maybe this ME2 squad DLC could get included with the rumored Retake Omega one? It could work, since both seem to be ME2 oriented story wise. Though I really hope for more than a simple cameo.

They never said they were making a ME2 squad DLC. Patrick Weekes was just giving non-answers like the other Bioware employees do.

I know, I just meant that if they know there's interest, they might modify their original plan for the Retake Omega DLC.

lol no

If anything, Bioware has shown that they care in some capacity, but they are incapable of basic forms of communication.

"We want ME2 characters back!"

"Leviathin of Dis mother****ers! Ten bucks!"

Sadly you seem to be right, and I'm  also kind of wary of Mike Gamble's quote about single player DLC focusing on Shepard, that's something people definitely seem not to want.

I'm... not sure what that means. Isn't Shepard always the focus?

I took it to mean more Arrival-like DLC, with only Shepard, personally I find that boring.

Hmmm, well, I didn't see the quote and don't have the context. But... maybe, I guess.

Liara was the focus for LotSB. Shepard was merely the vessel through which the player experienced the goings-on. Zaeed and Kasumi's DLC's focused on them, not Shepard.

Tbh, it sounds to me more like he might have been referring to the whole question of whether there would be post-ending DLC (in a scenario where Shepard is no longer the protagonist), which is something people have been asking about. Omega, for example, will likely have Aria as a focal character. That DLC seems extremely likely to be in the works.

Well...I would argue that Miranda was an important part of my Shepard's life.

They've already said they aren't going to make post-ending DLC.

Chris Priestly recently said that they won't confirm or deny it.

The new Leviathen DLC is adding dialouge to the scene with the Catalyst.

Well, they've given a whole bunch of different answers, though mostly evasive or some version of "probably not," which this would also be ;)

On the other hand, they've bold-faced gone back on their word with the extended cut ("we aren't going to change anything in the endings"), so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

You can't possibly be angry that they retconned Walters' "wasteland" bull**** can you?

No sane person would be.

No, I'm not.

But that isn't remotely the only retcon in the EC.

It's still really insulting on an intellectual level.

Destroy has the only relevance to the story I wanted to be told.

The only benefit about not having a physical reunion in the EC is that Walters can't get his grubby little fingers over everyone.
