I know that Ieldra.

For God's sake the point is the lack of control not that she has tailoring. That's what caused all these issues in the first place. Being told the only validation you have because of that tailoring is the issue.

The years of emotional abuse didn't help either.

BTW, I finished my Destroy run with Arkay Shepard :)

I also got the Rachni-on-Tuchanka slide that so many people think never appears in the actual epilogue. But I also got the "Eve on Tuchanka" slide which is clearly wrong since she's dead, and no Jack slide for good measure :/ I was so looking forward to a slide where Jack wasn't standing at a graveyard.

What are you playing the game on?

Miranda and Jack have issues showing up on certain systems.

and after ME2 she's made her peace with them existentially as well.

You'd think the lack of mention of this issue in ME3 would mean she's made her peace with it. But there is just no scene in both games that suggests a this sort of character development. The closest we have would her reaction to Shepard's "You give your father too much credit."

So, I'm not so sure Miranda so much as made peace with them as Bioware forgot the issues existed in the first place.

To clarify, I know Miranda mentions how her father controlled every aspect of her life in ME3. I'm referring to her inability to claim authorship of any of her amazing feats.

Yea Jack doesn't show ethier in my slides. By the way, the slide that you just posted Ieldra2, i'm always confused, is it destroy exclusive or can you see it in the other endings ?

It's Destroy exclusive.

The symbolism is pretty blatant, which is the point.

Jack does the same thing in her slide.

It's the Romanced/Destroy slide. As Taboo said, the symbolism is rather blatant and it's my least favorite Miranda slide for that reason, but it's still beautiful on its own, and nice to have it instead of nothing.

BTW:
This particular setup results in Miranda being the only character with three different slides for the different endings if you romanced her.

@MisterJB:
You know how it is. What Bioware doesn't tell is left to us. After what happened in ME2, I find it plausible that Miranda has made peace with her origins, and so that's what happens.

Anyways, back to Miranda.

As I was saying, Where do you think they'd get married?

Easy. Not at all. :P

Edit:
Having just read CrutchCricket's Bilbo scenario, *that* would be a very nice alternative. I like it!

Edit2:
fiendishchicken, your scenario also works very nicely.

Great headcanon ideas on this page. Hmm, I realize I haven't thought about a post-Destroy headcanon for the Shepard I'm currently playing.

My post-Destroy headcanon for Thomas has him coming back to Miranda (either she finds him in the Citadel rubble or at the hospital afterwards). After Miranda (most likely with Sam's help- this part is the same as my FShep headcanon) fixes his implants and he's completely recovered, they'll get married, but that's when things in the galaxy really start to get rough. Like was said before, things are not going to be smooth sailing in a post-Destroy galaxy. Thomas will have to go back to the Normandy as he'll be needed as a Spectre (and the Alliance will promote him all the way to Fleet Admiral, but let him keep the Normandy as opposed to moving up to a dreadnought) and Miranda will need to form our STG.

Not sure how they'll be able to see each other much, unless there's a way for Miranda to be able to run the organization from the Normandy.

Miranda would rule neither option out, but what's your reasoning? I can see her supporting the other two options, but I have hard time seeing her argue for Control.

Well I'm no psychologist but earlier I was talking to JB about how Miranda might have a latent need to control her surroundings. It seems that having so little of it during her childhood might've brought this about in the typical "you reflect what was done to you" way.

Pseudo-psychoanalyzing aside there is also the matter of the power which I don't think she's averse to, the knowledge and tech which she wouldn't just discard for sentimentality or by association and it has the added benefit of not forcibly changing everyone in the galaxy. I think she would rule out synthesis. Too many parallels between it and her father. Plus she's shown a newfound respect for free will and consent.

Also she may agree with TIM that using an enemy's resources is preferable to just destroying them, of course not going to the same extent as him in obtaining them.

@Td1984:
I just decided that it's part of my headcanon that Miranda rebuilds TIM's space station. When I saw that station on the cutscene a few hours ago, I immediately thought "Damn it, I want that space station", followed by "Yep, Miranda will have it".

She was there for Dexter (Season 7).  Obviously, because of Chuck and now Mass Effect, was really hard to "get" to her.  But, she was very nice and so friendly as well.

I'm surprised he didn't pass out. If Yvonne were to have smiled at me, I would've fainted.
