Another question: I'm not a MP player, so can someone tell me what Lash and Tactical Scan actually do to enemies?

Lash is basically a much more powerful and violent version of Pull. Tactical Scan shows whichever enemy you scan to the rest of your teammates (through walls and smoke screens) and increases the amount of damage you do to them. Both of those powers can take on other effects through evolutions.

Lash can create some pretty hilarious results when it's fully upgraded.

You can lash enemies who have full shields or barriers. You can fling Phantoms around the map and so forth.

I actually elicited an audible laugh from someone over a mic in MP once. I was probably a good fifty feet away from the Phantom too.

Lash is the Biotic equivalent to Scorpion's "Get Over Here!" Atteck.

Smash is pretty ridiculous too. In the sense that it seriously ****s up anything it hits when it's fully upgraded.

But I could go for a sword like the Slayer has...being a Vanguard and all...

If Miranda ever returns as a squadmate, Tac Scan is definitely one of the powers she should have.

Lash would be cool too.

I could use that. Definately.

Lash is one of the most useful powers that I've discovered. But I don't know if I'd use tactical scan unless I was a class that used tech and wasn't close range.

I need to start a new set of playthroughs with new classes, all I ever play is Vanguard.

Maybe I'll be a Sentinel like o Ventus here...

I can't see Tac Scan being one of her abilities but I think Miranda should have powerful and a bit violent Biotic Attacks.

Slam.
Lash.
Throw.
Ete.

Miranda should lean more towards a powerful Human Adept while Jack should lean more towards a Vanguard.

Jack can be a Vanguard if you upgrade her class "Subject Zero" enough.

Miranda is a Sentinel Variant "Cerberus Officer".

Miranda is a Sentinel. She needs at least 1 or 2 tech powers. Overload should return in her skill list from ME2, and Tac Scan could be useful against the boss enemies, like ATLAS', Banshee's, etc.

Miranda was a sentinel? Wow. I really need to replay ME2. lol Miranda was always highlighted in combat through Biotics and Jack was Biotics made flesh.

Plus, it makes more sense for Jack to lean more towards Vanguard in ME3 while Miranda would be more Adept. Jack carries a giant rifle (or was it a shotgun?) while Miranda never uses anything bigger than a pistol. Jack could survive charging into the frey while Miranda probably couldn't.

Well, I think Tactical Scan would make sense because then, as a Sentinel, Miranda would have a balance between tech and biotics. 2 Tech abilities: Overload and Tactical Scan + 2 biotic abilities: Warp and Slam + the passive.

But with Miranda the biotic abilities have always been a bit more emphasized than the tech, so a third biotic ability could also potentially work.

Jack is a bit more like a Vanguard (though not really a prototypical one), but Miranda is a Sentinel, yeah.

Oops. She is a Sentinel. I need to remember that Overload is a Tech skill and not a Biotic one. (BTW, I was so disapointed that having squaddies use Overload doesn't count towards the achievement.)

Anyways, My Shepard; Joseph Shepard is a Vanguard. Never played anything else but I think my Fem!Shep will either be an Engineer or a Infiltraiter.

I can't play as FemShep because of VO. My brother actually called me to ask me if he could change the voice.

He also told me he had romanced Tali and I was like "WTF Bro?"

His words were

"Miranda's a ****!"

"And she's British!"

wat

He, he, does't know his accents very well.

I literally facepalmed over it.

"Really? BRITISH?"

Yes, it is.

Case in point: Miranda. Honorable Mention: Sam Byrne from Gears of War 3.

^ Well since Australians can trace some ancestry back to Penal Colonies.

I'm somewhat familiar with Australian Cinema though. Peter Weir being the stand out director.

But the film everyone always talks about is Walkabout, which is also great.

AND MORE ARTISTIC THAN OUR CURRENT ENDINGS.

I don't know why but I've always loved "Australia" from 2008 with Nicole Kidman. I should watch that again...

Miranda is one of my favourite characters in the ME series, I was pretty bummed that she didn't have a bigger role to play in ME3 since she was ex-Cerberus and you know throughout the game we were trying to out best them.<_< So much wasted potential, anyway thinking about what Miranda will do post war, I know she plans to just fall off the map altogether with her lil sis but I don't know, I can't see Miranda staying quiet for too long.;)

Recently I read a fanfic which had Miranda as Shep's pick for Anderson's job, personally I think she would be quite adapt at the role, no doubt she would be far more charming, she's intelligent, resourceful, determined, strong-willed, trustworthy and would undoubtedly have humanities best interests at heart. She would fight tooth and nail for our place in the galactic community, the only problem would be the problematic Cerberus history and politics of course. Anyway that authors vision for Miranda I found it interesting, what do you guys/gals see Miranda doing after the war, do you envision more in her future or do you think she'll just drop off the radar completely with Shep and her lil sis?

I see her taking the mantle on the post-Destroy rebuilding, as well as forming a new Cerberus, albeit in a better image.

Yep.

Jacob. The two of them never did mention each other in ME3 anyway.
